Only had about 3 days. Extremely easy to set up and use. Took a whole five minutes to set up. Took her out for a test run in my yard. Unfortunately found only old coke cans and nothing fun yet but works well and easy to use. Definitely worth the money. Plus it helped me get my steps in 😂

One of the top three metal detectors I have tried out just because it exceeds all my expectations for this price range. The screen and controls are better than any of the other inexpensive metal detectors I have tried in recent years. It's actually intuitive and the settings make sense.....and they make a difference.As I've thoroughly cleared the yards around my house over the years, I set up a few tests.1. Nails (buried, and on top)2. Aluminum Can (buried and on top)3. Pennies, nickles, quarters (burried and on top)4. Wedding Ring (Gold...but on top because it's my wedding ring.....)The nails registered between 37 and 42 consistently whether buried six inches or laying on top of the lawn. Aluminum cans gave some really high squeaks in the 70s and 80s. Pennies, nickles, and quarters were all in the 80's, even up to ten inches underground. My wedding ring came up right at 84. Other things to note, this was able to find a buried cable along the back fence with ease - squeaked in the 50s.Now...There is one hiccough I noticed: It doesn't continuously squeak when over an object. I had to run it over several times just to be sure it was actually detecting something. In this, it was also very consistent. I had to do several passes in the same general area to get to the targets. Not a big deal, but more expensive detectors sustain a tone. Just something to be aware of. Check those targets a few times!Accessories are okay - low volume mono headphones that are absolutely NOT waterproof and are not comfortable to wear for extended periods. Shovel/Pick - It'll do the job, but you'll want something sturdier in the long run. It's not bad...Just not great. As an inclusion in a set for a beginner these accessories are just fine.So how does this compare to something that costs over a hundred dollars more? It holds up okay for what it is: a beginner metal detector...Compared to other beginner metal detectors, this does fine. How does it compare to something in the same price range? KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK! By far the best sub-$100 metal detector I've tried.

I really like and enjoy using this detector. It's easy to use and for the most part very accurate. I've found a good bit of coins at the park already with it.However, the shovel that is included is an absolute piece of junk. The compass on the end came out of the box unmagnetized, and no strong magnet was able to fix it. The shovel bent backwards the first ground it hit at the park. the spinning lock at the end to rotate between the two constantly gets stuck. The included carrying pouch is made of an extremely cheap material that that the shovel will cut through easily. Really wish the strap on the back of it could be opened or closed. The the longer, skinnier shovel part of the attachment is the only thing I can use.The shovel wasn't the main event of this purchase, so that shouldn't take away from how much I like this detector and recommend it. But for the love of god just buy a seperate shovel or digging tool if you decide to go with this. The best use I have for this shovel is using it for scrap metal.

Fun to use. Gives a dad something his teen enjoys. Accurate as Far as we can tell. Comes w ergonomic handle, ground leveling adjusts just with a push. Head set worked great. Screen looks twice as well as I believed

I got this model to replace my older metal detector some 20+ years old, it has been a real work horse. I'm much older now and this unit keeps me from bending over as much as I use too because of the different discrimination modes. It took a little getting use to the controls but works great and saves my back. Shows what the target most likely is (pop top, trash, nail) so you can keep going if you wish. Had it out a few times so far and am hopeful of finding that pot of gold.Had a chance to get back out and use this unit some more. Seems the disc mode is a little too selective and blows right pass some objects it should be picking up and gives false signals. Tried all metal mode at the beach, sand was dry and it alerted, swung back and alerted again. Used detector pin point and dug, nothing? Scanned area again signal gone? This happened 5 times in a row. Guess this is not good for beaches, my 20 year old one works better then this unit. 3 Star rating at most Now!

This detector is as promised. It is super lightweight and easy to set up and use. Was nervous that it would be too bulky and heavy for me to use however it is lightweight and versatile. I was able to use for hours without getting tired or needing a helping hand. The machine is accurate and I have had lots of fun and adventures using this product to detect anything precious hidden from my view. It has turned me into a real life treasure hunter. Fun for all ages and a great hobby.

I bought this metal detector after losing the Apple watch my wife loaned me out in a large field I had just tilled with the tractor. I didn't know exactly where it came off, and it was too far from the house Wi-Fi to use the Find My Watch function - which wasn't turned on anyway. We spent some time narrowing down by grid where the watch might have come off my wrist AND it was raining and muddy. We went out three days after the loss hoping to find the watch. Within 10 minutes of using the metal detector, the watch was found - after being out in the rain and mud for several days. I was extremely pleased at the ease of use and ability of the metal detector to find the lost item. I can't wait to take this to the beach and on hikes to see what else it will find! Highly recommend.
