One of Two Tapes I Use Climbing
Batches vary in adhesiveness, likely due to the lack of temperature control during shipping or storage, but not so much as to significantly decrease quality. My first batch (6 pack) was an eye-opener in terms of quality for tape. Sticks well for a couple hours of average-difficulty climbing if you tape correctly. Second batch (12 pack) does not seem as impressive, but is still relatively of much higher quality than any other tape I’ve tried. Doesn’t leave the yucky bits like other tape used to, but my hands just may have gotten rougher. It’s probably not the best idea, but I even use it to seal cuts or torn-off flappers to keep climbing. One more thing: It’s a bit hard to tear, but I’d rather have to use scissors over having tape fall of in the middle of a climb.

No more wastly randomly-torn piles. The best for stripe promotions!
If you operate a martial arts school, and you are tired of seeing piles of randomly torn, unfinished, oddly sized rolls of tape, then this is the tape for you. In the past, I had 2 alternatives for creating stripes to put on a promoted student's belt: 1) buy whole rolls and try to pre cut the rolls with a utility knife, or 2) Hastily grab a roll in the middle of class and tear it as evenly as best you can. I quickly found out that it is very difficult to cut a 1.5 wide roll into 3 evenly spaced .5 rolls. The adhesive grabs your blade and makes it a 1 hour project per roll. If you just grab a roll as needed and tear it the best you can, you'll end up with wasted unfinished rolls (like in the image I attached). This is the ultimate solution for me. I can tear off a 10" length in the middle of class in about 3 seconds. The edges are sharp and clean and look great on a belt. The adhesive seems to be holding up well on cloth and itself. I cannot speak to the effectiveness of it being finger tape, because I have asked my students to start providing their own and storing in their gym bags - lest they accidentally start using these sweet babies.

very sticky for me
First of all, I am not using it for MMA. I am using it to tape my toe down to heal a fully torn plantar plate tear. In this regard, you need a sticky tape. Maybe it is TOO sticky--after two days, taking it off leaves residue on my foot which sticks to my foot and pulls out my slipper liner. I will not consider that a negative, but just the product doing it's job.I always apply to a clean foot, by the way.It stays on in the shower. In the hot tub. While working out. You have to pull hard to get it off, at least on feet. Just my experience. A good value.

Pass *edit* not for free
Falls off when sweaty. *edit* coming in hot! I hate this tape more than I hate people that hurt puppies. I hate this tape more that I hate Nazi’s. I’d rather watch a nazi kick MY puppy than use this tape one more time. I’m laying in bed, I go to grab my coffee and realize, “my fingers hurt from last nights training (BJJ) so I crab my trusty(garbage) gold bjj tape. It literally, won’t stick to my finger long enough to wrap around my finger and stick to itself! I’m going to resell this tape as “Gag tape” to see how many people I can frustrate w it

Great if you like your fingers being sticky.
I’ve been in search of the perfect finger tape for Jiu Jitsu. Alas, this one also doesn’t make the cut. During class it seemed to work decent enough, but once I peeled the tape off, the true horrors were exposed. My fingers are now caked in tape glue. The picture attached is after I’ve spent the past 30 minutes picking at it. Definitely not buying again.

[No Longer] The "Grippiest" tape! PERIOD!
EDIT!!! It looks like the tape has either been reformulated or the supplier has been changed!!! This is terrible!!! It is no longer as sticky as it used to be! This is bad. The only reason why I paid the premium price for this tape was because of its extra sticky adhesive. Now it seems very ordinary! Can you please bring back the old tape ... or just tell me where I can get it!...my old review...If you want or need the stickiest tape around...this is it. I always tape my fingers before rolling, and most other tapes unravel by the end of the session, especially during hot & humid conditions. This tape stays put! end of story! I'm not sure what kind of adhesive they're using, but it's gotta be some sort of industrial strength stuff. I've been quite impressed with it and am now using it exclusively.

Bad. Not storable. (Fixed)
Update: company reached out to me and offered to make it right. Kudos for proactive support.- - -I like the first purchase and placed a second order for future use. It’s only been about a year and found all tape has now lost adhesion. It literally feels like roll or cotton. This is too bad because it used to work so well.

Sticks and protects good
Basic athletic tapes. I use it for my fingers to protect when I throw football for fun.Slightly tough to tear it off while applying on your own finger, so you may want to use small knife or scissors. But it works fine with a reasonable price.

My favourite tape, but I wish they came in bigger packs
By far my favourite finger tape vs. absolute finger tape. Has never come undone and doesn't leave residue. No knuckle issues when using this tape.

Not very good
Used this tape for jiu jitsu class, started to come off near the end of class. By the time I was done rolling it had come off all my fingers. I will not buy again.

Great overall!
Works well, I use it for rock climbing, you have to make sure your hands are clean and well dry before putting it on, or else it wont stay. Not very durable, but you get a lit of it!

it comes off easily
I used this for BJJ/grappling class and the edges always come off after two rolls on the mat. It is not as what they describe. I would better off buy tatami finger tape for a similar price and a way better quality.

Falls off when full of sweat.
Very happy. Very good tape. But it does fall off when soaked in sweat. Falls off during BJJ rolls.
