Amazon said it didn’t fit
I ordered an alternator and according to Amazon it was the correct fit. It did not fit this vehicle. I bought the correct one, even though Amazon said it was wrong.Whomever thinks they know parts that fit or don’t, and sells them for Amazon, needs new training.

A video says you don't want to do this!
Product was great: installation was a bear! It was a perfect fit for my 2007 ford escape. It took me 11 hours but a lot was me being dumb. Watch the video and don't make mistakes like I did like just removing the alternator nut, not also the stud or installing the alternator before putting the axle back on. But once all together, it works like a charm.

Perfect fit / poorly packaged
Item is as advertised perfect fit and brand new only downside is that item comes in cardboard box with NO cushion for impacts during transit and well 2 bolts that hold back of alternator together were sticking out of box and slightly bent did not affect in any way performance but just not aesthetically pleasing for a brand new item other than that excellent product….

A beast to put on 2006 Ford escape
So far so good was a beast to replace this thing I do not want to do again

A pain to replace, but does the job well.
Used on a 2005 Mazda Tribute V6 3.0L. It was a pain removing the bolted on covers and pulling the old alternator out, but my to my surprise, installing this new one wasn’t as bad as taking out the old one. This alternator works fine and I haven’t encountered any hiccups so far.

It works!
It work the first time right out of the box unlike the previous reman alternator that failed right out of the box. Hope it lasts.
