5 Gallon Pail Pump
A**S
The pump is awkward and doesn't work properly. Also NO instructions came with it.
This pump comes with NO instructions enclosed on how to install it to a steel 5 gallon drum. So, I called AES Industries and spoke to someone named "Jay" (a.k.a. "Jeff"). He was sarcastic, unhelpful and extremely rude. This is a mechanical object that came in packaging with NO instructions whatsoever and NO company contact information on the packaging. It's BASIC sales 101! Pump was also faulty.

Worked great with my Opti-Lube 5 Gallon tub (Diesel additive)
Bought an Opti-Lube 5 gallon bucket/tub and came with plastic hand pump that was a little sticky and only one ounce per pump. This metal pump clamped on the side just the upgraded metal one you can buy from Opti-lube directly, at half the price or so.The pump is smooth to use, and since the handle and the spout is separate, it is actually easier to use than the plastic, because you don't have to keep your hand clamping on a moving spout. I am very happy with it, but only used it to fill one of each 8 ounce and 16 ounce bottles, will need to last for a while to make it pay off, but I am hopeful.

Honey, a special case
I bought this for a five gallon container of honey. The pump is amazing and pumps honey like mad. However the mount doesn't fit the bucket at all. So it takes 3 hands to use it. One pumping, one holding the pump body down and one holding the container to be filled. I am going to use Aviation styled stainless steel wire to hold the pump body down, reducing how many hands required to use.Oh, the pump should come with a cap for dribble a stop and a contamination blocker. I used a cap I already had.

Convenient
I've got these in 3 different 5 gallon cans of mixing thinners in my spray booth. It's so easy to pump out my quantity of thinner compared to picking up the can every time. I bought the first one a few months ago to try out, and it worked so well I bought two more. The only issue I've had is that the mounting bracket fits some types of cans better than others. Full disclosure, for one type of can I had to weld a tab to the mounting bracket to lengthen one leg of it.

Quality has Changed
I have bought these units numerous times before with very good success and they worked flawlessly with good fluid movement of the the plunger arm to move or deliver product with absolutely no issues. The last two units purchased look the same as previous but are of much lesser quality. If you pull up on the plunger arm it binds and sticks. I've even pulled another out of package and worked the plunger arm with no product. The unit still binds up. I worked it over 100 cycles with no product and the unit binds on the down stroke everytime. On up stroke about 50-60%. With product, the same. What changed?

Doesn't work with standard bung holes
the "adapters" that come with this are ridiculous. I can't attach to the drum/pail I got it for because I can't seal the pump in the bung hole. That means I have to go find some adapter to go from a 2.0 NPT bung hole to a 1" stem on this pump. I don't know how the pump action works since I haven't been able to actually use it for the desired purpose.

Works well for corrosives
I have been using these for a while now to transfer corrosive (viscosities close to water). I clean thoroughly after each use. There appears to be a bit of very minor leaking at the top bolt at the base of the handle, but really minor and otherwise does a fantastic job.

It serves its purpose
We use it to pump out acetone. The action is smooth, but two issues, the sprout that it comes with does not fit the sprout on our pails, and it is supposed to attach to the pail through a clamping device. The clamping does not work either.
