I wish I had ordered these sooner. They are very thick sturdy measuring cups. I've used them and wash them several times now and I don't see any issue with paint chipping. Honestly I feel like I could bake a muffin in a cup in one of these things and it would be just fine in the oven.

I ordered these because they seemed like the quality Pyrex borosilicate glass. I replaced a newer Pyrex with this one, because the measurement markings had worn off. Now this one is useless in 3 months. Not a trace of red measurments on it, it's clear glass. It was sometimes washed in the dishwasher, but the product is supposed to be dishwasher safe.

These remind me of what my mom used to use to bake with my sister and I when we were young. I used them for the first time today with my own kids and they felt very nostalgic while also doing a great job and making me feel like I was using a quality product.***Update - about 3 months after this review I noticed that the markers on the measuring cup had disappeared. These became absolutely useless so we threw them out. Save your money and buy something that will last.

I would not have purchased them if they had not had borosilicate glass. They are safe to use and have good handles. These are replacements for someone who had a glass measuring cup without borosilicate glass "explode" in the kettle of soup. Thanks. I highly recommend this set.

Exactly what I needed & decent price.

These measuring cups are great sizes. A little shorter and wider than the ones I have. The writing is clear. There is just one slight problem. The 1 cups writing is upside down. A bit comical actually.I've contacted the company, four (4) times. I just sent the latest jpg showing the cup. Hopefully...

I was really disappointed in the quality of the measurement markers on these glass cups. I purchased the new ones because the markings on my old ones were gone (after many years of use). After TWO washings on the china cycle of my dishwasher, the markings on my 2-cup measurer are GONE on the top 1/2 and faded and barely readable on the rest of the glass. The shape and feel of these Nutrichef measurement glasses are nice and they were definitely pricier than other brands. Soooo disappointed I spent the extra money for a poor-quality item!! It should be labeled "hand wash only".

These are nice little glass pouring vessels, but the numbers completely have washed off (dishwasher) on my two - 1 cup measures and both my two -2 cup measures. In less than a month. I was very disappointed.

These measuring cups have a terrible, terrible spout - the same type as the squat “Pyrex” measuring cups that spray their contents down the front of the cup, instead of neatly through the spout. The spouts on these measuring cups are flat, with a weird lip inside - the only way to pour liquid out of them without making a complete mess is to pour a thin, measly little stream of thin fluid, like water. Forget trying to pour anything thicker than water at any rate of flow - some of it will inevitably slide down the front of the cup onto your counter.Accurate measurements? They might be, while the liquid is INSIDE the measuring cups - how on earth are we supposed to measure what slops onto the counter while we pour the liquid into our dry ingredients?Although they’ve been on the market for years, the design of these & the squat Pyrex measuring cups is terribly flawed. I can only suppose that the people who manufacture them never actually use them for their intended purpose. If they did, they’d have abandoned this horrible spout for the deeper, accurate spout utilized by the Fire King brand. Sadly, Fire King seems to have abandoned their borosilicate glass for tempered glass. Also sadly, I put these measuring cups into the dishwasher & tossed the packaging when they arrived - otherwise they’d have been returned, pronto.I have no idea whether or not the glass is actually borosilicate, as claimed on the web page. The product package said nothing about borosilicate glass, that I recall.If you do a lot of cooking, baking, soaping, etc and require an accurate liquid measure that REMAINS ACCURATE when its contents are poured out, and that doesn’t spill due to a spout design flaw - AVOID THIS BRAND.

Love it was exactly what I was looking for... better than plaxtic!

The glass quality appears to be good but have not tested with high heat. What is disappointing is the graduated measurement printing on the glass is fading out very quickly on the small and medium cups after only a few washes. The print on the large cup is still good and not fading. Pretty soon the two cups will be so faded they won't be able to be used for measuring.
