Originally thought this was a solid headlamp, bright, decent battery life, comfy but then the hinge broke to the battery compartment while I was swapping out the battery packs. This happened with under 20 hours of use. I’m outside the return window, I have sent an email to Nitecore but haven’t received a response.Durability is a concern but if the customer service responds and replaces the item then I’ll update my reviewUpdate: nitecore was responsive to my inquiry and has mailed me a new headlamp. It has not arrived yet but everything has be A+ with their customer service so I’ve changed my rating

Love this light! Paired it with a head piece designed for a welding helmet and its better than the $500+ headlights I see at OtoExpo. Love the warm light setting. Colors look just like old school Xeon lights. Like the option of the bright white setting. These always look blueish to my eyes but for certain color contrasts I have to admit they help.Great battery life and in a pinch you can use AAA batteries.Only thing I dont like is I wish they would get rid of the strobe light mode. But at least you can turn it on and off without having to cycle through all the modes.

I really liked this headlamp. it has replaceable batteries for a quick swap if it dies but the downfall is you have to open it to charge it by plugging it into the battery. the thing I loved most about this light was the warm light feature!! I search far and wide for a warm (2500-3000k) rechargeable headlamp and failed until I found this one. sadly it is extremely fragile and the hinge that opens to expose the battery broke the first time I dropped it. I have a Nitecore light on every keychain and have always praised the brand as a must-have light with cutting-edge tech and durability. Still, sadly that's not the case with this light and even though id be tempted to buy another to replace the broken one it's too expensive for the fragility. If I'm given a new light ill update my review and return to singing my Nitecore praises.

Perfect for my hard hat. Brighter than I expected when In high mode. The batteries can last me a couple work days in between charging when using the low setting. Love that it comes with an extra battery so your not in the dark while it charges and it can take 3 AAA batteries if needed.

The two LED lights provide excellent distance and flood coverage. The removable rechargeable batteries can be swapped out on the fly and replaced with three triple A’s. Simple two button controls with lock out feature. Perfect for overnight hiking trips. Highly recommended.

My light broke after only 2 months of occasional use for nighttime trash walks up to the can (I live in the country) and wearing around to test it.During those 2 months it was an AMAZING light. I was on the verge of buying multiple to give as gifts...till.The plastic that holds the battery door on just snapped while it was laying there as if it was manufactured wrong. Very sad as my NU25 has gone through hell and high water and is still great (getting ready to buy another). Nitecore please fix the plastic I want to buy another but not if it'll just break again.

I do like the battery life it gets me through long low light situations

The hinge point basically exploded when I opened it up to charge it for the first time. Great light other then it’s totally compromised and falls off the headband now. I was gentle opening the headlamp this isn’t my first headlamp like this.. well now it is. Not happy here
