Perfumery - The Art and Science of Mixing Perfumes

My 7 year old daughter bought this with the money she earned by doing some work around the house and she was so happy to spend her own money on anything she wanted. After shopping around, we found this here at Amazon for a great price and it came the next day. She was so excited when we got it in, we immediately opened it and made our first brand of perfume! It smelled great and was so easy to make. I was very happy with this product and even happier that my daughter learned the value of a dollar by choosing this product.

This was a very nice perfumery set for my 7yo. She has used it a couple times and she always has such a good time with it, and she can play with it with her friends over. Imo, the main drawback is that there are only 5 vials to create concoctions in. Also, the little plastic droppers aren't numbered or otherwise differentiated, so in order to prevent mixing the scents, I wrote numbers on them, but the perfume erases the sharpie. Overall still very happy with it, and I would recommend. Good price too.

Bought for my daughter as a Christmas gift, and it was well received. The only problem we encountered was one of the scents had leaked. It was not totally gone, but leaked enough to change the color of the label. It comes with 5 scents and 5 pipette droppers and five different vials to put your own creation into. The scents are all natural and wonderful smelling. They are great for a young adolescent girl because they do not smell like you are walking through Belk's. The kit also comes with some recipes for great smells. Very enjoyable craft.

I wanted to like this. I thought the idea was so cool. Me and my daughter got it all set up to create our perfumes and were extremely excited. AT first I really liked it , I liked all the little instructions and the mini history lesson that was included. We started playing with it, making the different scents and I got the worst headache of my life complete with nausea. I stopped playing but no matter how many times I washed my hands the smell wouldn't go away. 2 days later she played again and brought me some, took a whiff instant nausea and headache. Even tough it smelled bad and literally made me sick, my daughter liked it. She learned some things, had fun and even became more creative 2.5 stars

Fun and easy! There is a ton of left over scent mixtures. Suggest also buying small pretty perfume bottles to give as gifts once you create your favorite scent.

I bought this item for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. I love it. Together, we make such interesting and yummy smelling perfumes. It is a great way to spend daughter/mommy time. I have even worn some of our "concoctions" and received lots of compliments! I would definitely recommend this item for anyone who likes to experiment and smell good all at once.

My nieces loved this. The scents are not bad. I think it comes with 6 scents to create different combinations with. They had a blast. I would recommend ordering little perfume bottles or sprayers for the mixed scents because it does not come with that part.

Poor quality cheaply made. My 10 year old daughter asked for a perfume kit for Christmas and this kit was one of the lower priced ones out there but did remind my self you get what you pay for. There is a booklet with a couple of pages of recipes and information and scents, 5 scents, test tubs ( looked like mini urine sample cups), and droppers. The scents smelled terrible like cheap soap and gave my daughter a terrible head ache. I don't know what is in some of the other kits out there but I wish I hadn't wasted my money on this product

I was very excited to gift this to my niece as I thought that they would love it unfortunately the box didn't have the spray bottles in which kids would make the perdume and could use them later. This is the most annoying thing. I had to return the product to amazon. Good service thought!
