Great, lightweight support
This brace is a replacement for an earlier version my doctor fitted in 1998. Wow, this lightweight, breathable support is fantastic. Living in the Phoenix area, the older metal version was extremely hot. This model offers the same support in a simple, functional system. I will be looking for replacement pads, because all are held in place by velcro dots, plus the lumbar support is built into the back pad. The inflation bulb is a bit awkward however, it does hold the pressure very well...even when lying directly on the back pad. The brace adjustment range is very simple and covers a wide range of body types. I purchased based on my height, 5'9", and it still could be adjusted to a narrow width accommodating my light weight of 115 pounds. This brace was a terrific find and at a very reasonable price.

Hard to put on if you are female and no one’s around to help
If you are female and have breasts, this is hard to adjust so it’s comfortable in the chest area. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a question option if you need to know the size of the screws and washers is one falls out and is lost. Trying to wear it in an auto requires a lot of seat adjustments, and even then it’s uncomfortable and probably dangerous in an accident since the chest piece is aimed at your throat. Also, the lower front edge of the brace presses against the top of the thighs, which can leave bruises.

Good support, comfortable, but hard to put on by yourself.
I use it for a couple of hours in the morning and it relieves the morning stiffness. Putting it on by yourself is an ordeal. I keep the right side velcro straps alone, once adjusted and undo the left side completely, then slip the brace on sideways from the right. I then loosen the shoulder straps, but keeping them loosely attached -- if they get loose, you can't reach them, having to take off the brace and reattach the straps. Having now put the brace on for the second time, the "fun" starts! Now the left side velcro straps have gotten tangled in themselves, the first one that you get untangled gets loosely attached, repeat for the other two. Be sure the air bladder is deflated. Now adjust the left side straps to comfort, then the shoulder straps. Now, reinflate the air bladder as desired. Done! Now, improvements: Longer straps would make adjustments easier. The attachment swivel hooks made removable, so the straps could be reattached without having to re-adjust (and wear out) the veclcro, for each wearing and removal.

Poor quality padding attachment
The padding lining the brace has little circle, velcro patches as shown in the pictures, which attach it to the plastic frame. Design appears to be so that the padding can unvelcro from the brace and be washed, however the adhesive holding the Velcro strips to the plastic is too weak and pulls loose.

I have MS Fused L4-S1 & Recovering from Covid
I love my back brace. It’s been great for me. I love it with the adjustable size and the straps are very strong and my neurologist approves the back brace as well. He was able to adjust it for me. Right now I used it so much I’m needing it repaired and replaced with a newer one due to the extreme weather up here in Alaska. The Velcro’s wore out and I lost some screws.

Best purchase I have ever made on Amazon
I am the 70 year old that already left a review. I just want to follow up now that I have been wearing this brace consistently for weeks now. I am so overjoyed that I found this. First, it can be difficult to put on, however I solved that problem by carefully releasing one side to slip out of it. I have a fairly short torso so I removed the piece that connects to the front plate. I was on narcotics to relieve daily pain and no longer need it. Advil once in a while…it is truly a miracle for me. I can live my life again and enjoy every minute of it.

Poor directions
Looks like a well put together brace but I have no idea how to size it. Directions are very poorly defined.

Looks like I'm from Star Wars, its like armor :)
A bit bulky, but does the job, just not a very comfortable fit for women. I would love to wear it more often, but my shoulders keep bending forward. The front I feel should be different for a women to wear for longer periods of time. Love the back brace portion, but the front needs straps to pull shoulders back straight. I'm trying to straighten my back due to curvature of the spine. I'm going to see if there's a way to redesign a little. Its close but not quite what I needed. Great ides though!
