Apple MacBook (MLHE2LL/A) 256GB 12-inch Retina Display (2016) Intel Core M3 Tablet - Champagne Gold (Renewed)

I bought this macbook late 2021, first few months it was fine, a little overheating. but… it’s refurbished so expected. HOWEVER about 6 months into owning it, it started to literally burn my skin or surfaces off if i left it on my lap or desk for more than 30 minutes. only used this for school nothing else so just chrome, microsoft and files. etc. contacted seller who told me i was outside my “90 day warranty”. they showed no remorse for selling me a bad product and said they would accept it back after getting amazon involved and they were sorry and gave me a return address. Then about a week later i go to reset everything to prepare for the return, the macbook wont turn on, i tried everything swapping chargers, youtube videos, unscrewing it, EVERYTHING. i contact amazon and seller again. no help, now the seller says “we never offered to give a refund or agreed to a return its past the 90 days, we cant help you.” great so now im out $553 (price at the time) and a macbook that wont turn on after only own it for a year and a half. please do not buy and i can’t believe amazon is still letting this seller sell complete trash to customers. i hope if you did buy this you find out any issues before that 90 day period because after that youre stuck with it. my advice. buy refurbished elsewhere they just take your money and say “sorry for the inconvenience”

This is my first Mac and my first laptop in quite sometime after being an avid iPad user since iPad user since 2013.Bought from Out of This World Electronics, and it was delivered 2 days later in stunningly like new condition. No scratches, dents and not so much as a finger print on it.Overall i like the mac, but am underwhelmed in some regards.Beginning with the positives the screen is stunning. The retina is perfect and pictures and videos look incredibly crisp and clean.The body is slim, thin and very light. The perfect laptop for convince and bringing around town or just around the house.The operating system is so fast and programs open immediately after clicking them. The 8GB rams comes in very handy.The battery length is very good. On full charge it last me about 10-14 hours.Now to the cons,The lack of USB ports is a bummer to me. You are forced to spend extra money on adapters to use UBS to just charge your phone, most of these adapters being $50 on here.Now coming from an iPad i honestly thought the mac store and iPad store would be the same, but this is missing convince apps like Netflix, Facebook, Hulu, Etc. You have to web search for these. Obviously if you're a mac user in the past you know about this but i did not expect this.Overall its a nice little MacBook. For $699 I'm not sure if I'm getting the best bang for my book, since its missing USB ports, Disc Drive, but what I'm getting is the cream of the crop.

When they say preowned they definitely mean it. Exterior shell came with multiple scratches and chips. Keyboard space bar didn’t work and wasn’t fully attached and the computer system was so slow and eventually the update was corrupt on it. I only owned it for one day. I requested a replacement to give them another shot as I need a laptop for work. But this will be the final time. If it doesn’t work then I’m returning and getting my money back. Very disappointed. Best Buy preowned was much more legit. But a little bit pricier. But you get what you pay for.

The seller of this product is very true to their word. I thought I had an issue with my keyboard but it was actually mean that made a mistake but the seller was more than happy to help me with my issue.

This product is not as it’s advertised. It came with many scratches and very deep scratches. Before buying, make sure that you see the real photos.

This was definitely worth the money. It is light so it is perfect for travel, has a lot of room for storage, and is just what I needed. A lot of people may complain it only has one port, however I rarely have to plug anything other than the charging port in so it really is not a big deal.Would buy again!
