It was suggested I get a medium. I did.The pleats did not lay properly for this booty.It’s a great coat. Nice weight. Good quality. Classy. I would change the buttons. They are cheap and unattractive.I typically wear a large and that’s what I needed. The suggested size was inaccurate.

Huge pockets, well tailored, warm, great color, good value. The jacket is cozy without being bulky. No weird smell on opening. Material is on the thinner side but still toasty

Overall, the coat is nice. Not the heaviest wool coat but good for the fall. My one complaint is that the buttons look cheap. Spend the extra money and put decent buttons on it.

Pros- Love the color, style, fabric.Cons- The quality is not there. I agree with the other reviewers that the buttons can be replaced, but also the pockets are not sewn in properly, and the pleats are not finished, giving it a frumpy unpolished look. This is a dressy coat/ it should be warm and should not need ironing. I’m keeping it because i want to make it work.

I’m 5 foot 6 inches 154lbs. I purchased a medium. It’s a tad snug in the waist when I button it but a large would have been too big. I am able to adjust he buttons so it now fits perfectly

The coat is a Beautiful failure. This is the third time I am sending this coat back. I will not be re-ordering. The first one I got in many blue. I believe it was a size large and it fit beautifully for the fall weather. But for some reason that shade of blue was so hard to match with accessories. I was going to keep it regardless, but the lining in the left sleeve was torn. I decided to send it back and get the same coat in black instead. I couldn’t remember if I order a large or an extra large so I looked at my previous purchase order online. It did not tell me what size it was so I got an extra large to be safe if i wear it with sweaters in the winter.. It was extremely large and far off my shoulders, so I had to send it back. I ordered for the third time a black size large. This is way too small, I could not button it. It was too tight across the shoulders. I really wish whatever size I had in the blue version of this coat would fit the same in the black version. So neither the large or the extra large fit. But the blue version fit perfectly???? that’s crazy!. Another downfall after the pockets. They are uncomfortably high and are hard to find. Last but not least, on this particular coat, the buttonholes are missing! I only had one buttonhole for the middle button. It’s a double breast parka with three mock buttons. As for the other three buttons there are no holes for it. The other two coats that I purchased previous were able to button just fine. I am not going to try it again , the coat is beautiful, but it’s a failure.

While I definitely agree with a lot of reviews that the buttons are a bit cheap, and I might reenforce them with a few extra stitches, the overall look and feel of this coat still keeps it as an easy five stars! I personally sized down, I usually go with a medium to be safe since I have a bigger chest (34 DD or 32 DDD), but I'm glad I read the reviews and sized down to a small! I'm 5'3 and about 140 lbs and it's still roomy enough to easily fit a thick sweater or something underneath :) So excited for the weather to get cooler so I can wear it all the time!
