This book uses side-by-side Spanish and English in interesting stories to promote self-learning. I found it very useful to reinforce what I already know, plus allow me to improve my skills by comparing the translated paragraphs. Using the accompanying audiobook really helps with pronunciation. It seems like not only would this be a good way for English speakers to learn Spanish, but also for Spanish speakers to learn English, as both are spoken in the accompanying MP3. I also think they have a very helpful website and great customer service.

I studied Spanish for several years in school and have been teaching Spanish to my nephew (who is 6) so I purchased this book for us both. He absolutely loved it and so did I! The story content was very engaging and the Spanish to English translation enabled him to start piecing together full sentences! I highly recommend this book for adults & children alike!

I've been tutoring beginning level Spanish students lately and have had the chance to try out these short stories with them. It seemed to go well--my students enjoyed the kid-friendly stories and especially seemed to love how the audio speaker changed tones with the characters to help them follow along. Since these stories are aimed at children who would also be at that beginning level, I think this would be a great tool to use, as long as the child is old enough to read in their first language (it helps a great deal to be able to read along while the audio is playing). I also liked how there were both Spanish and English texts and audios, that way one could learn either language depending on what their target language was. Overall, the combination of well-voiced audio, parallel texts, and fun kid-appropriate stories makes for a great learning tool

I like to read books to my children that teach them a second language (especially Spanish) and is an adventure. 10 Bedtime Stories in Spanish and English have great stories my kids have enjoyed while they learn a second language.

I am a reading aide at an elementary school. Looking for books that would help my ESL students.This was a horrible purchase. The stories were lame, boring, unimaginative.People do not talk the way it is written in the book. It is very poorly written.Page 31 "Come on, come on, pick up your culterly dad, go on! thought Chloe, who could not wait any longer."Pictures were creepy.Pinted on cheap thin paper. Could see words from other side of paper. The margins were off on the pages, making it difficult to read because the words in center of book were in the crease.Do not buy.

The book its self is a way to educate others that speak ether English or Spanish with is awesome. the story its self is very interesting.

The translation is not accurate, and there are some misspelled words. Additionally, although the audios are fine, their stories are somewhat different from those in the physical book.It is a visually very dull book, especially if we consider that it should be a children's book; there are no colors - just black and white.

Not the right reading level for little kids in English or Spanish even though my child’s reading skills are far above grade level. Strange stories. Not enjoyable.

Bought for my grandson who is studying Spanish at school so perfect for him.

The 'translation' is paraphrased unlike other dual language books which help me to learn. Returned as it annoyed me.

It is a really boring book to look at, especially for a kid, the pages are black and white there is not colour.

The free audio download doesn't work and yet there is no way to contact seller - Amazon, with this particular problem. The only option is to send it back
