I had a really hard time trying to find a lap desk that has storage, they just don't make them. This one has tons of storage and feels very sturdy. The only down side I found is the clip and angle that the desk opens, it make sense if you are going to use the desk for artwork. I use mine for my laptop so I have turned it around so I can open it in front of me. Because of this I had to take off the clip and it's hardware since it was in the way and caused my computer to not lay flat. Overall I would buy this again.

Comfortable to have on my lap—not to heavy. Perfect size for my needs. Top can be placed at several different angles depending on what it’s being used for. Plenty of space inside to hold my crafting supplies. Lid stays closed without risk of falling open when moving lap desk. Has convenient carrying handle.

If you are looking for a storage lap desk I highly recommend this one. While it is a bit on the heavy side it is very sterdy and carries well from room to room. The pillow on the bottom is firm. I don't usually sit the lap desk on my lap but actually my couch, bed, etc. I can carry several items in the storage compartment and hold it by it's handle with no worry of it coming out. The latch is very secure. You can store paper documents, magazines, etc. Cell phone. Pens. Journal. Tape. Etc. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Keep all my handy things inside so my bed isn’t full of pens, wipes, Kleenex, pads of paper, remotes, face mirrors, bills, the daily clutter I seem to attract. It is great to write on, eat on, use iPad on etc. goes under bed when company comes. Good investment!
