We bought the first mat a couple of years ago, we decided to get a second mat now that we have more room and the mat we received is 6 inches shorter and 3 inches narrower. They changed their product and mislead my purchase. Beware of what you get from this seller. There is also a giant logo on the new mat, see the attached picture for difference in length and the logo.

I wasn't sure about it at first but after having it awhile, I've realized what a great investment it was for the price. This mat has taken daily abuse for months from an almost 11 yr old competitive gymnast and the dog that insist on sleeping on it and it's held up. It gets folded daily and tossed into other rooms. After having surgery, I've been doing my therapy exercises on it too. I like the 2" foam - thicker than most that are 1.5.

This is a big mat! The length is perfect for practicing beginning tumbling skills while not in the gym. The 2 inch thickness provides peace of mind since our mat sits on a hard floor. The bottom has the hard side of Velcro to attach other mats. We just have the one mat so we attached strips of the soft side of Velcro to it to protect our flooring. So far, this mat seems well made and meets our current needs perfectly. Our little gymnast is very happy with it.

My twelve-year old loves performing gymnastics constantly. She needed a better mat than what we had, so we gave this one a try due to the reviews and overall dimensions. We have had it about six weeks and it is in as good a shape as when it arrived (ignoring the grass that the edge velcro picked up on its numerous trips to the front yard). Plenty of cushion for rough tumbles, and she likes the extra length. It is also very easy for her to fold up and move to the corner of the room for storage. The surface is not overly slick; just right. My daughter, and her friends, love the mat! If we had a larger room, she would probably buy a second one to make a 24' super mat but, for now, one is fine.

I bought a couple different brands of mat for my kids. Most of them would collapse under the weight of my foot. They were only intended for maybe 25 - 50 pounds, and if my 3 year old fell hard on one of those, they would certainly be crying. This one, on the other hand, easily supports my weight, even when completely unfolded. It is the same density of the mats that my kids use at their gymnastics classes. They've been using it every day for 3 months and it's holding up very well. The biggest challenge is making sure they keep sharp toys off it, because they like it so much they'll just sit on it and use it as a play area.

This mat was larger than I was expecting, although if I had looked at the measurements I should’ve known better. It is however the perfect size to give an 11-year-old girl who won’t stop jumping around the right amount of space to do walk overs and all the other obnoxious things they won’t stop doing. It does fold up and travel easily, just make sure you have a spot to store it.
