This easel is well made , very sturdy and I love the fact I can move the painting rests up or down so I can either sit or stand as I paint. I’m very pleased with it being on wheels so I can move it from place to place, too. Would recommend it highly.

I was really surprised by the quality of this easel. As I was assembling it, I couldn't help but think how refreshing it was to put something together with such clear instructions. Each wooden piece is labeled with a small sticker (that is easily removed) containing the letter of that part referenced in the instructions. Each different type of assembly hardware is in a separate, boldly-labeled ziploc bag (yes, a ziploc – not heat-sealed plastic that's difficult to rip open). This made everything fool-proof and perfectly obvious on how to assemble each step.And if that wasn't enough, everything actually fit together perfectly. Tabs that were meant to slide into slots did so with no finagling or excess pressure, screw holes lined up, hardware fit perfectly, and the self-tapping screws on the caster wheels were just snug enough in their pilot holes to create a strong hold, but not so much that they hurt my wrist in turning them. The end result is a very sturdy easel that can support canvases of just about any size and comfort position.For those who like to work sitting down,simply adjust the height downward using the easy pull ring. For standing, adjust upward. This thing will adjust so high that the limiting factor may actually be your ceiling. I took some measurements of where the bottom edge of your canvas could potentially be positioned. When adjusted all the way down, the lower canvas edge would be about 8.5” off the floor; when adjusted all the way up, the lower edge would be about 47.5” off the floor. The clamp can support small or large canvases. I clamped in a 4”x6” painting and a 24”x30” painting as well just for size sampling. See the two photos for each size. The 24”x30” was the largest I had on hand to try, but the clamp will support a much taller canvas – up to 48” tall by my measurement when I ran the clamp all the way to the end of the support post.Even though this easel has some heft to it (in a good way), the caster wheels make it easily maneuverable, and the locking feature will keep it in place when needed. As far as angular adjustment, I like mine in an almost perfectly upright position, but it will also lean back as needed with a quick loosening and re-tightening of the hand knobs on the side.All in all, I am very happy with this easel, and after the pleasant building experience and overall craftsmanship and sturdiness, I could envision this selling for almost double what I paid for it. Money well spent as an investment into my art. Hopefully, you all will enjoy it just as much.

this is a very tall easel and may not fit in most homes. I have mine in my unfinished basement and can't move it beyond a very small space because it hits the ceiling beams and pipes. it's also very difficult to assemble with just one person and the directions aren't very clear.once it's assembled and if it's in a high-ceiling room, it's a great easel. very sturdy, easy to move and turn, and it holds canvases of most sizes.

I am VERY happy with this product overall. It's a beautiful design and is made of quality wood ... like a piece of nice furniture that fits right in with my other furniture pieces in the house. It's pretty easy to assemble by one person using all the pieces and tools provided in the package. However, I have to mention a glitch in the first package delivered. The oval shape hole on the drawer was not drilled in the center; therefore, I was not able to assemble the center rack. I called Amazon and wrote to the seller online as soon as I encountered the problem requesting them to send me the replacement piece; but no response from them. After three business days passed, I called Amazon again. This time, they got hold of the seller who agreed to send me the piece. To my surprise, they sent me the whole package as a replacement. Well, I got lucky - this time the drawer hole was drilled correctly. Finally, I got a nice product. While I rate the product high, I do want to say that the seller could do better to quality control the production and be more responsive to its customers. Without this glitch, I would have rated them 5 stars.

I am so happy with my new easel! I was blown away by the packaging. Everything was labeled, all the hardware was sorted into little bags identified by letters. All the wood pieces were clearly identified with little numbers. It's a bit of work to assemble, but I am 63 years old with arthritis and I did it by myself, so it's not that bad. The instructions are pretty clear, you just have to look at the drawings attentively. The easel is sturdy and well built. It looks and feels a lot more expensive than it is. It's a great value for the price. My only issue is that it is very tall, my ceilings are low, so I had to push a ceiling tile to the side to accommodate the central post of the easel in order to be able to work on my practice piece standing up. The suspended ceiling in my studio is only 84 inches high. No big deal, but if your ceiling is low and it's not a suspended ceiling, be aware that you will not be able to use the easel standing up unless you are very short.

I'm not easily impressed, but I was impressed with the quality of the pieces as I was taking them out of the box. Everything was perfectly labled and easy to find during assembly. Even though the box was banged up a little, the pieces were wrapped safely in bubble wrap. The assembly instructions were clear and straight forward. Best part it came with phillips and flat head screwdrivers, no need to look for the correct size! At times the screws needed a little extra force to be completely screw in, but once in the pieces were stable. Love that the wheels lock to hold it in place while painting/sketching, and when unlocked it glides with ease. Adjusting the height and angle is easy. It's perfect for people who paint standing or sitting, and can be lowered enough for kids or raised high enough for a tall person. When it's in the lowest position it can be laid flat and stored easily. I've shopped around for several weeks for an easel. For the price and two day shipping with Prime, looks like I made the right choice. Not a professional artist, but with this easel I'm sure to enjoy painting like one.

There is not one thing I don't like about this easel. I purchased it based on the five-star reviews it earned, and I'm adding another five star. Although the instructions are not in English, I was able to put this easel together because the illustration booklet is clear and easy to figure out. The wood is exceptionally beautiful. Nothing expense was spared on the materials Everything was packed in a fiber material and labeled to perfection. All the holes were drilled precisely where they should be so screwing in nails was a cinch. You were even provided with two high quality screw drivers to do your task, so if you were out in the desert or in the woods, no matter. Open the box and start. I've never purchased any product anywhere that I had to put together that was better orchestrated than putting this easel together. I am so pleased I bought it, I would give it ten stars if I could. I can't wait to get started on my painting that you see on the easel! Highly, highly recommend!
