The packaging was good but the seeds were GROSS! Even eating a few made your stomach feel bad. Tried to sprout them to give them a second chance -- and they're DEAD! Plus there was a putrid smell at each rinsing. They go in the trash - won't even give them to the birds. It's like they're bathed in chemicals.

Pepitas are relatively high in protein. Since I’ve accidentally become vegetarian (I’m too lazy to cook meat? I’m too cheap? Idk, probably a bit of both), protein is extra important for me. Nuts and seeds are easy to add to oatmeal, so I started looking for a relatively nutrient dense nut or seed that I could get for a good price. Pepitas interested me, but were pretty pricy at nuts dot com, so I almost gave up, but decided to check amazon first. Good choice! These Pepitas are pretty cheap for a 4 lb bag that’ll last me two months as an oatmeal additive. They taste great and are certainly a good part of my morning now.

At $18 the 4lb package was the most economical price at the time I purchased. Good bargain.Recently went vegetarian for a health condition. Pumpkin seeds are a great source of protein and healthy fats without loading up on carbs.Fresh tasting. Package is sturdy and 'zip lock' works well. (Though with this quantity, I transferred to a resealable glass jar. At a tablespoon or two at a time, the bag is going to last a while.)

Thought these were USA product, but from China

I was looking for a low calorie snack and this is perfect. The bag is huge and resealable. I brush a large pan with olive oil and put the seeds in on med-high until they are brown. It takes about 10 minutes - I like them very brown. Then I put them in a bowl and sprinkle with salt, garam masala, and chili powder and I am telling you they are delicious. I put them on my salad and I eat them alone. That batch lasts me and my family throughout the week.

The pepitas are a little smaller than some that I have purchased before but overall taste the same. The bag did arrive with a rip in it so if that doesn't bother you than these are great. However, if you are grossed out by open food packages, than this might not be for you. It's unfortunate because the bag feels like it should be sturdy enough to withstand travel.

Tastes nasty. Very dark in color. sadly I cannot return them. Waste of $

Pumpkin seeds are very good for ones health, high in zinc and often suggested for male prostate health. I have used them from time to time for years but until I checked Amazon I did not have a easy place to purchase and a good price option. Now I do! Thanks.
