Designed to Deliver, Production Quality!
Open-back Design comes with benefits and it’s shortcomings. Overall a quality product and I’m loving it!! Professionals can check for the sound curve and for beginners it’s a worthy upgrade.+This is remarkable piece of equipment for Critical Listening giving a wider soundstage-Being open-back means it is not insulated and sound will leak in or out.+Sound reproduction is gooood! It’s clean with clear and thumpy base. Good highs, mids & low ends.+comfy and airy ear cushions also replaceable+clamping action is comfortable for long sessions+good for sound mixing and mastering, even better in a controlled environment like a studio-not advisable for recording, closed version dt 700pro x is a better option because of the closed-back designIf you are someone who likes to hear instruments clearly, enjoy the vocals, don’t like overpowering bass without compromising the thump in the lows like kick drum, then this does it with a breeze.Construction quality is superb and sturdy. Speaks volumes of quality. Designed for audio production but also for people who appreciate clean audio.

excellent sound quality
Better sound quality than 990 pro. Well built and comfortable. Nothing to complain. The price is similar to other brands in this quality range. Bought this due to prior good experience with Bayer dynamic.

Perfect for Music Production
Absolute clean and flat sound for Music Production. A bit heavy which can cause neck pain.

Good for Casual gaming, not for Competitive gaming
EDIT 2: Their customer service doesnt respond on email, their phone number is out of service, even after talks with beyerdynamic Global for 1 month + I have literally 0 progres, havent received any communication from them whatsoever. I suggest you not to buy any beyerdynamic product for now because of non-existent service. Giving 1 star for the headache faced.EDIT: after 6 months of daily use (normal usage while taking utmost care) the headset headband is out of adhesive and the padding has almost came off from the headband foam, really not well build headband, absolutely disappointed.Panny, an unbiased reviewer.I am writing a review for DT 900 pro x beyerdynamic.TL;DR not for extreme competitive pc gaming, but more of a best option for casual pc gaming.I bought this for playing games on PC and was specifically looking for these as it has a more flat tone, open back, good bass and great audio seperation.I got these my pros and cons are as follows after a month of usepros:cable length is very longperfect for small earsvery good for people with glasses as it has a more than average clamping force so leakage is lesssound stage is very good for gamesI can hear footsteps decent (not the best)ganshots in games like csgo arent very overpowered btu still its kinda loud so not much of a proearpads cleaning is simplecomfort is very good because of clamping forcepower delivery on base motherboard audio codec for pc is decent not the best but can be good enough with apple 3.5mm to usb c dac (so buying an amp is not compulsary but still recommended because in apple dac u need to reach 90% + audio setting in windows and thats not ideal)music quality (i am not an audiophile) experience has been really really greatCons:not the best for fps games if I am being honest, I would rather prefer HD560s by senheiserfootsteps gets overshadowed by ganshots and grenades in games and not what i totally expected, altho they are still audible but at a certain distance they just cant be differentiatedsudden movements are not easy to catch like if a person have been shift walking and started running, its tough to pick up on an instant where he started his running from in games like csgo valorant etcganshots are loud (not hyperx loud but still loud)I dont really like the rubberised texture of cable, very prone to damagenot recommended with larger head and ears as its circular and might not fit well for larger ears, ony for small to med ears imoI can hear better with a corsair hs50 with loudness equilization enabled and can make out every single enemy and every single footstep in games like valorant and csgo and this headset compared to that pales in comparisionHeadsets that I have used which I would recommend over thisHD 560s (havent used but they are clearly better for fps games and possible the better choice over this for gaming)PC38xCorsair HS 50 with loudness eq (not good for battle royale or games with multiple floors like r6s)GSP 500These are the headsets which I would recommend for maining in games hands down over DT 900 pro xOverall a decent purchase and def. better than any hyperx one out there. Not the one I was looking for but its good enough for overall usage i.e. gaming + music + this sounds fuller in AAA games while the HD560s is more like a competetive gaming headset and have less punchy bass(My review is based on default EQ i.e. no EQ, you may get better result by using EQ but I am reviewing based on the default plug and play capabilities of the headset)(I have given 5 star based on the headsets soundstage and features and build quality and ease of use, but for gaming, I would only rate this 3.5 stars)

PRO Review: Very Good. Not Exceptional
I am used to using premium headphones on a daily basis. I use and used multiple Sennheisers, Grado etc. My daily driver being a Bose QC35 II so I may be nitpicking on audio quality. If you are buying semi premium headphones like these for the first time you will definitely enjoy them. Comfort is a different story.PROS:1. Sound Quality is good. Very similar to a Sennheiser at the price point.2. Open back gives a very good airy feeling.3. Some weight, not too heavy.4. Non braided thick cable. Believe me non braided cables are so easy to clean, take a wet wipe and wipe it down and they are as good as new. Braided cables though give a premium look and feel get dirty and once accumulate dist are impossible to clean. If something unpleasant spills on braided cables other than throwing them out nothing else you can do. So non braided are the best.5. They give 2 cables.6. Cables are with proprietary locking model at the headphones end and they snap in place pretty nicely with a small release button . Though proprietary is not the way to go in this day and age they look nice and they give 2 cables, so you can't really complain and there is no real reason to.7. Good build quality and good ear pad fabric.CONS:1. Headband pressure is quite high. You can feel some discomfort on your head with the amount of pressure. You can't wear glasses wit it on or the glasses frame will bend. This is a major concern for me.2. No storage case or pouch.Audio Quality: Its pretty similar to Sennheiser HD660s (similar price point). Sound stage also I felt similar. If I nitpick a lot Sennheiser is a tad bit better.Comfort: Sennheiser wins hands down. Beyerdynamic is simply circular, not suited for large ears, high headband pressure that you can feel against your skull, can't wear classes with this without damaging your glasses. If you say audio quality is similar to other at this price point the level of comfort while wearing becomes the prime point to use and enjoy. Almost everyone else wins, Sennheiser being the best among all in my opinion and this model just not comfortable to use.
