I have had my eye on this product for 2 years and finally decided to buy it. I am not disappointed!! Easily put together, sturdy and roomy for all kinds of breads. I bake mostly from scratch and this box accommodates them all. I am very happy I bought this. Other reviews dissed the magnets, but that was not my experience. These magnets are sturdy and hold strong. I looked at many other bread boxes online and this one was had the deepest capacity, which I loved! I highly recommend!

This is a great storage cabinet for the price. I separately purchased bamboo lid containers to use for my spices on the bottom and teas on the top.Some people complained that the magnets weren’t strong enough. I think it may be more an issue of tension when you put the cabinet together. If you screw the doors on too tightly, the magnets don’t have the proper clearance to clasp correctly (I had an issue at first but I remember similar issues on hinges from working in the woodshop as a kid with my dad and when I untightened the screws from the hinges a bit, everything lined up and closed perfectly!)Definitely recommend!

I have an 8mo old kitten who has taken to stealing food off of my kitchen counters (no, he isn't allowed up there, but you try telling him that... naughty gremlin). It started with a SLAB OF RIBS thawing for dinner and then a whole package of bagels 2 weeks later!Cue my bread box purchase. I bake a lot and also have the everyday sandwich and breakfast supplies on hand, so I chose this one for the XL size.Pros: the size is everything I wanted and it looks nice once built. Directions were good other than mislabeling the screws required for the handles.Cons: you have to build it (tip- just get the drill out and use that because the allen wrench screw driver they send with it is horrible). A couple of the pieces I got were definitely bowed... once screwed together they seem to be fine, but I guess you get what you pay for. I also had a piece that was cracked. Not broken through, and a little wood glue would probably fix it up fine, but it gets 4 screws and a back piece to secure it in, so I was able to use it as is (I did this mostly because I'm busy lately and can't be bothered to go through the return process at the moment...)Overall, pleased with the end result and very happy I can now hide my carbs from the resident thief!

I thought the top would secure better, it's just set on top, no real nesting or latch but not a deal breaker. Other than that it's exactly what I wanted! It looks like advertised and was quick and easy to put together! Doesn't feel flimsy and seems like decent quality. Only time will tell!

04/13/2024 A well packaged kit for you to assemble. I'll tip my hat to all those five-star ratings. The kit is well packaged and protected for shipping. Bamboo is an awesome material for such an item. And if things were within tolerances and properly able to be assembled. It would be a very sturdy and solid product. Unfortunately for me. While at first glance everything looked really nice. Upon unpacking things, I had multiple pieces that were warped, and one almost cracked all the way through. Not worth the hassle of trying to return it. So, I went ahead and assembled it. Four images attached. The bottom box boards are warped as well. The result is the shelf is wedged in place and cannot be taken in and out as advertised. The box magnets are too deeply counter sunk. Resulting in the bottom door not being able to be closed. Currently taped shut. I'll get a aftermarket magnetic cabinet latch and install it. I will glue the top box to the bottom box. And I will get a piece of Hickory cabinet siding and cut it to hide the side. I'm glad I am currently in the process of remodeling my kitchen and that I am a skilled wood worker. And very mechanically inclined. The percentages do not play that returning it would actually get me a better product. So, I'll make what I have work out. Again, hats off to those that are able to give this kit a five-star rating or anything over a two really.

The instructions made this easy to assemble. I used it in three different parts in my kitchen which gave me a lot of storage space. The smaller compartment works great by the stove for spices and oils.

Works great! If you stack them, there is no way to secure the pieces together. The hinge on the door is weak, so it’s important not to put downward pressure on the door beyond a 90 degree angle. If it’s sitting on a counter, this should be fine, but on a shelf it can be a problem if there’s no support for the door in the open position.
