Quick Review:Another great starter book for your pre-teen child.Our 8 year old boy loves it along with others in this series.Awesome colorful pictures along with wonderful facts / information will keep them interested.Hardcover edition which cuts down on wear and tear.One can't usually go wrong with National Geographic books for children....Recommended!

I buy this stuff all the time. This is for probably age 9+ and a good reader. Not for a 6 year old just learning to read. I bought it for restaurants to keep him busy when with family but it's really a book you need to sit on the couch and page/ read through.

Definitely it's a kids book, nice pictures and easy to read. Definitely recommended.
