well made
I bought these for an older GE profile PGP990SENISS countertop stove after searching extensively for one that was a close match to original. It was very hard to find the right dimensions, because alot of knobs didn't list all the measurements that I needed ie, shaft lenth, d-shaft width, shaft diameter. When I installed them I almost thought they were too small, because they wouldn't push down. I had to gently line up the hole and push. It is a snug fit, but they work.

Knobs are Good Quality, But Didn't Fit!
Unfortunately, the knobs I ordered for our General Electric stove top burners did not fit because the openings were too small and the stems were too tall. The original knobs are made of plastic and all became cracked. The burners I ordered from Amazon were metal, which is what I wanted. Unfortunately, I need to return them to you and find out if you have other ones that will fit our burners.

Just like the 'real thing'
One of the knobs that came with the GE Profile gas cooktop cracked (inside section that fit over and turns the gas on). Decided to replace all 5 knobs just in case they looked a bit different (and feared another knob might break, too), but didn't need to as they look exactly like the original knobs. Very easy to install. Just pull the old knob off and slip the new one on.

Good quality, fits a bit high and tight
These are a bit tough to get on, and they sit a little higher than the old knobs, but overall they look nice and seem to do the job.

Perfect for Whirlpool oven
Perfectly fit my whirlpool WEG515S0FS0 gas oven and since it only has 4 burners, I have one extra. Looks great and is much better than the suggested $30 per knob OEM. Can't confirm if the stem is plastic or metal though. If you have this model oven, this is a great replacement.

Works for W11517334!
OEM W11517334 knobs were $50+ but these fit perfectly at much lower cost!

Breaks as easy as the factory ones
I was hoping these would be an improvement to the cheap ones GE sells with their range. However, the same cylindrical part attaching to the stove completely cracked just after a year. Apparently there is no warranty as they just pointed me back to Amazon 30 day return when I inquired.

Fits and looks nice, but don't perfectly match the original ones.
They don't perfectly match the original style, but I had two broken knobs so I just replaced all four. The originals were also perfectly vertical when off, and these are at a slight angle. I prefer the slight angle because it makes it more obvious at a glance which way they're supposed to be turned. The people complaining that they sit too high just didn't push them on hard enough, because mine are fine. We'll see if these are more durable than the junk knobs that GE used.
