Disappointing purchase
Once I started assembling this stand, I immediately regretted buying it. The finish is very similar to some cheap kitchen cabinets we bought for the garage. I have assembled many pieces of furniture from ikea, sauder and others so this process is not new to me. The quality of this unit is disappointing. The finish is cheap melamine which is becoming delaminated in several places. The parts did not fit together properly and in one case, there were holes drilled backwards on one of the upright panels. I had to drill new holes to put them together. The instruction sheet was very small and difficult to read, leaving out some important information regarding panel alignment. I needed to use the trial and error method because the instructions were no help. If it wasn’t going to be such a huge hassle to disassemble this and somehow get it back into its packaging, I would have returned it. I would not buy this TV stand again.
