Compact and great to keep on my counter! Gets the job done well, and is really easy to clean. Buttons are minimal but really helpful, and I can toast my breakfast bread quietly & quickly!

This is an attractive well priced toaster. The stainless steel exterior looks good and is easy to keep clean. It has adequate settings for toasting darkness that certainly span the minimum and maximum anyone would want. The slide control is OK and allows items to be hoisted adequately to grab them -- though I'd prefer it raise them a little higher. The toasting is not perfect, with slices or bagels coming out with dark and light spots. I'm not sure if there is any toaster that does this perfectly. But this one does a better job on bagels and bread than my toaster oven. Its a worthy improvement for about $20.

This is hands-down the BEST toaster. I'm over 50 years old and have had many toasters in my time as I have toast almost every morning (and my daughter makes pop-tarts as well), but this one is by far the best machine. Its settings are true and accurate and heats/toasts evenly. Plus the slots are wide enough for bagels or English Muffins, but it also holds thin bread in place.

Great toaster, the action is very smooth & the way it is constructed & insulated makes it better than anything I have owned in the past. Thanks for the time & thought that went into making this.

I really like this toaster that I bought recently. It arrived quickly. After quickly reading the straightforward instructions, I made some toast and it turned out beautifully with a darker color that I appreciate so very much. And the toast had an even color on both sides! Very much to my liking and so much better than the previous toaster that I had owned. The Hamilton Beach 2-slice toaster with extra wide slots is easy to operate and the controls are laid out in an efficient manner. AAAA++++

Good toaster but you have to set it on defrost to toast a bagel. English muffins and bread needs to be watched otherwise it might overtoast. The bagels come out perfect though, so that's why I gave it 3stars

We purchased a toaster oven which replaced an old and worn out model we’d had for decades. But despite claims of toasting four pieces at a time it barely dried them bread out let alone toasted it like our old model!So I looked on CR and saw this one rated well and bargain priced at Walmart. Except they were out of them. So after a second try I ordered it for a few dollars more from Amazon.The toaster had some startup issues. Some plastic gunk stuck to the inside which I managed to pull off with tweezers. After that it works just like it is supposed to. I like the defrost mode. Bread from the freezer goes in frozen and a few minutes later is lovely toast.This model works the way it is supposed to. The crumb tray makes cleaning easy. So recommended.
