Works Great
Have been using these for our kitty for about 3 yrs. He can only eat Wet Food and when we have to give him dry is only when we’re out of town. He was super constipated, didn’t know until took him to vet, while only there for 2 nights cost us $700. I told my Vet about these and he said they are safe to use. For lubricating, just squeeze little bit of the ointment out and rub around tip before inserting. It works fast and less trauma and COST of staying at the Vet.

Rating for Cat Enima
The item works pretty good. Sometimes a 2nd dose is needed. Must be very carefulSo as not to injure the animal when administering. This item has saved us about $1000 this year.

Fantastic!!!
I've tried everything to get my cat to poop, expensive homemade food, lickable cat lax, amazing wet treats and food and still nothing.I ordered these last night and received today and let me just say, they are a life saver! My poor kitty was bound up and even though shepooed on my carpet, I was still thankful! I think next time I will put her cat harness on and let her poo outside so her daddy can scoopIt up to discard as she kept me and my daughter running all over the house with wipes and disinfectant spray. If your cat is having issuesthis is a must buy.

It worked
Try not to let your cat lick this stuff. Wipe his rear or he will taste it. I think that's what made mine throw up a few times.I was giving my cat laxative before the enema and it wasn't working. The enema made him use the litter box after a few minutes. The first few times hard pieces came out but eventually it was all liquid due to the laxative.I had to put him in a bathroom with a litter box to keep him from hiding in weird spots or growling at other cats who tried to sniff him. I kept him company and kept wiping him with kitty wipes. Eventually it all came out and he was ok.

I read the 1 star reviews after I purchased
I bought these to help my 17 1/2-year-old cat who had been backed up for a few days. I was desperate, and the cost of a vet was prohibitive. When I got the product I went through the reviews again, and someone suggested to read the one star reviews and I did. Those were horrific, especially the ones that were comparable to the situation. I was in with the cat of my age. I emptied out one of the syringes and filled it, rinsed it and cleaned it and filled it with olive oil and inserted that orally into my cat a couple of times a day. That helped a little bit, but not completely. After a few days it occurred to me to try a baby suppository which I did. I bought MiraLAX powder, quarter teaspoon twice a day mixed in with food plus Pedialax glycerin laxative, which was super easy to administer. After the Pedialax, she immediately pooped hard little balls. Poor thing couldn’t even get to the cat box in time. Within 10 minutes she was in the cat box pooping softer stools. Eight dollars.

So far, so good!
My advice is: if you can afford to take your cat to the vet, do that instead. After spending a thousand bucks recently for my cat's bladder stones, I couldn't afford another visit. My cat hadn't pooped in 3 days, I suspect his recent change to prescription food is to blame.I wanted to err on the side of caution. I squeezed half the contents into a small Tupperware and threw out the other half. Mixed the stuff in the Tupperware with equal parts warm water. Filled the syringe half way and used that on my cat. He went to the bathroom about 4-5 minutes later. Not a massive amount, but at least a day or twos worth. It's been about an hour now. No follow up poops, no diarrhea, no vomiting. Kitty seems ok. I will monitor him to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated.

Miracle worker
My almost 14 year old cat was MAJORLY blocked up. I called the vet but they didn’t know what to say. My cat gets VERY stressed going to the vet and I was worried she may have a cardiac event from the stress of it all. I ordered this and as soon as it came I used it on her and within 8 minutes all the very large hard stools came flying out. She did drool after licking her bum and I got a little nervous but it was because of the taste of the leftover enema goo. I was caught between a rock and a hard place and I took a chance and it worked out. Probably still best to get a vets advice if your cat can go to the vet without having a heart attack
