Some errors or missing instructions
I bought both books, the fillings and the baking. I found there are a couple ingredients that don't exist or are a spelling error. Some recipes list an ingredient with the instructions not telling you want it's for. For example under the coconut recipe, the ingredient list calls for "Bue melting chocolate". Instructions don't say what the chocolate is for. I also though Bue was a specific company that makes some special coconut melting chocolate. I think it's a typo and should be Blue. Google images has some pictures of coconut macarons with blue melting chocolate drizzled over it.Do your research before making any of the recipes

A Black and White Book
I'm disappointed the book is black and white. The lay-out of the recipes are not easy to read as some of the ingredients are on the side of the page and recipe instructions flow from one side of the page to another. This is not helpful if you are cooking and have to flip to pages while baking. The recipes seem worth trying since I find most of them has less sugar than other recipes I've looked at. Recipes also have both cups and grams which is helpful for those who doesn't have a weighing scale.

Easy to follow recipes
I used a recipe in the book to make a batch of macarons and had no issues with the way they turned out.

Best beginners book
My granddaughters and I made these cookies using the basic recipe and they were delicious and we had the perfect cookie. I’ll be using this book for more baking.

Good but not perfect
As others have stated, there are some errors. However, everything that has been cooked so far (4 of the recipes) are delicious. The pictures are not in color, and that is sad.
