Robustly made, capable of holding fairly large pieces of wood. Ideal for carving and nothing obscuring surface.

The vice was misaligned and not parallel, the metal guide tubes were rusty. Item was returned for a refund.

Opened the box and saw that the bars of the vice were heavily rusted.Immediately started a return.Disappointed, given other similar reviews, that the condition of the stock has not been checked.
