I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before purchasing.This is not a history of mathematics at all. It is a bunch of incoherent comments.Complete load of nonsense. At least the paper can be recycled at my local recycling centre. I purchased several 'books' from Amazon recently. All have been a disappointment. An expensive mistake on my part. In future I will use proper online book stores and recommend other serious readers do likewise.

I didn't look too closely to the images which are displayed on the page, but wish that i did! There are already some warning signs; the blurb on the back is the same sentence copied and pasted nearly 3 times!The book is also not about the history of mathematics, its just a large collection of thoughts. This is not helped by the fact that it seems to be written in a different language and then badly translated into english. Many of the sentences do not make sence and is impossible to read!SO, DO NOT BUY!! DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WHICH I DID. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER BOOKS FOR THE HISTORY OF MATHEMATICS!!

I was looking. Forward to a book on the history of mathematics but this book doesn’t really to that. It reads as if it was written and then auto translated into English. Sorry, bu,t I can’t recommend this one.

This Book is a disaster!

This book is disjointed, incoherent and apparently was never proof read. Best not to waste your money.

O livro engana o leitor desde o título. Não tem nada de História da Matemática, de Platão, Euler, Newton. Trata-se de um amontoado de parágrafos desconexos, talvez copiados da wikipedia ou outro lugar. Pura enganação.
