This handrail has a good, smooth white painted finish. It is easy to grip and a good length for two steps. It is very sturdy when mounted properly to studs.

I use this hand rail to aid my entry from garage to house (two) steps. It is sturdy. Looks good two.

I took a chance to buy this on line without seeing how sturdy it was. Turns out it is better than I expected. The base is thick steel, and the welds of the tubing are excellent. Paint finish is great too. I screwed it into the studs along the side of the door frame going down three 6-inch steps from our home to the garage floor. We had an older relative visiting and did not want anyone to fall so we bought this. But my wife and I use it every time we go up and down too. Even the builder of our new home was impressed with it and said it is better than the railings they build from wood. I drove in the six screws that came with the product, and five hit studs, the sixth did not, and the railing is plenty sturdy.

I have 2 steps from my breezeway to kitchen. The breezeway houses my toaster oven and microwave, so I constantly use these steps. This handrail makes me feel confident and safe in my daily activities as I recently had a knee replacement. Was easily installed by my neighbor and looks sleek and unobtrusive.

As far as the railing itself, it appears to be well made and very sturdy. There were some minor surface imperfections where it appears that dirt/debris got into the powder coating. These imperfections were out of the main area that you would grip, so I will live with them. Unfortunately, the hardware supplied was very undersized, and not color-matched. Luckily, I had white pan-head #10 screws that were a big improvement over what was supplied.

This works wonderfully for an assist for family members that need it. The two levels accommodate everyone. Easy to install (mark the holes, pre-drill with a small bit, mount and put in the screws). Looks fantastic as well. Def recommend. I installed it into wood and did not use the drywall plugs (which would make me nervous.

For just holding on to railing this is great. I don't think you could use it to do chin ups on but it give you that little something to hang onto to get into the house. It was a good buy for the wife and for her after double knee surgery. We both like it but you need to attach it to a good door frame, Plus I added extra screws to it for my own peace of mind.

So happy I found this handrail! My husband needed a handrail to help him balance going from the house to the garage. It is sturdy and easy to install.

Excellent product. Only install into actual stud, not into drywall with plugs. If installed correctly it’s great, into drywall with plugs it came right off the wall causing a fall!! Please install firmly into wood. Then you’ll love the product.
