Great product!

Constant leaks, aerators are trash , come apart in water, to pollute water. Too much work!! Backflow valves ,cheap china made junk,half wouldn't let AIR through "brand new"! Cheap made junk!!

The media could not be loaded. There's a leak in the in valve boot sobering I can fix and not a reason to send the whole package back please send me one valve maybe 2 so I can stop the leaks otherwise great product easy setup but instructions not so great gotta kind of think about it!! Over all great buy!!

I was going to build my own setup with Home Depot buckets but after pricing out the buckets w/lids, the hoses and fitting, the net pots, expanded clay and factoring in the labor of painting the buckets black (to prevent algae growth) and modifying the buckets for net pot use, it’s as just way more practical to buy this. Plus, compared to the more popular brands offering nearly identical products, this was no different than any other but at least $30 cheaper.I will say, that exterior blue tubing feature is useless. Since the holes are already cut, you’re forced to use it or find a way to prevent water from leaking, but at the end of the day it does nothing. I assume it’s supposed to show water levels in the bucket but the tube is so thin and tinted that you really can’t see anything. I’ve seen a system that uses a half inch to inch tube for this and I may modify these to copy that, as it’d be much easier to see water levels.Anyways, the system is great and has everything you need to get started. You’d be a fool not to get it.

I saw many of the other reviews stated they had issues with leaking but still saw a lot of good reviews so I decided to take a chance. I will outright say it seems like most of the good reviews are older so I bet the quality went down hill recently. But I had probably a good 20 days or so with this before it started leaking. And when I say leaking I don't mean just a drip, checked it before bed like normal, I keep all of my hydroponic products in a bedroom that was empty, I had bought only aerogardens but wanted to have a blueberry bush, dwarf mandarin orange tree, etc so I bought this because I have never used a bucket system. But back to what I was saying, I checked on them before bed and in the morning I found literally a pool of water from the pump area. Not only did it ruin my wood floor where the water pooled over night but it ruined my renogy power station I was using to power it and the anker outlet strip. Buying cheap has probably cost me thousands of dollars in damage at this point. I'm just lucky the power station and the power strip did not catch on fire!!! Do not buy this, it may not leak until like a month in but it will leak and it will be a fire hazard. I'm replacing the setup ASAP even if I have to spend hundreds to do so because I'd rather do that than let my house catch on fire due to the pooling water over night, as a reminder the pump is electrical and needs to be plugged into an outlet to work so water around the pump alone is a fire hazard. Please do not buy this! If you want a complete beginners set avoid this one at all cost, on top of it being dangerous the instructions are basically useless and I had to go to YouTube just to figure out the setup. I bought cheap at a little over a hundred dollars and I'm paying a huge price of having a couple thousand dollars worth of damage as a result.

I happily bought this 8-bucket system for cherry tomatoes, with other systems cost hundreds more. As it is, I break even vs. soil in 12 years. Great customer service with this company. Recommend.The buckets are only of average weight but special because of pliable PP instead of the more commonly stiff and stronger HDPE. Flimsy polystyrene would have been even worse. Shim the unsupported bottoms at the centers by maybe 3/8". The buckets come pre-drilled, but I don't like that and will mend them all closed. My hoses go through the lids.The airline is tiny and plastic, and tiny airlines choke air flow. Go with oversize silicone hose. Air stones are small and replaceable. Keep air pump higher than water level and lose the flow choking back flow valves.A great starting point to be improved upon. Water must be changed out every so often, so do add drain plumbing and a 400 gph water pump in an extra bucket. Recirculate that water. Net baskets might be brittle so add support for the plants.

Everything in this bucket system is of reasonable quality, except for the pump. Unfortunately it is very loud and does not push enough air for 8 buckets. It seemed to do okay with 4. I bought this system for this seasons outdoor grow and once running it wasn’t long before the neighbors started complaining about the noise. I ended up using a couple of pawfly 4 port pumps that are super quite. The noise of the pump will probably okay when I set this system up in my garage for my winter grows, but will be with 4 buckets only.This system would be perfect with a quieter more powerful pump.

This is a great little system. I set it up and grew kale, chard, and tomatoes all summer. I have a lot to learn but it was a great start!

Best deal on Amazon. You get 8 for 50 bucks more then the 4 pack. Well worth it. Everything worked well. No leaks, no issues. My Herbs are really loving it.

it was exactly what I was looking for! designed to grow massive plants easy to assemble so good for new growers that want a easy set up and its affordable compared to most of those tiny set ups you see I cant wait to grow some fat juicy watermelons in one of these big boys! will post another review with start to finish results if anyone would like to see the grow process in one of these!

Good system, downside is once the plants are tall and big there is no way to check ph or chemicals as there is no access unless you lift the plant and lid together which is a pain.
