I was so on the fence about buying this pillow because the reviews seem so mixed.First of all, I think a lot of the reviews are due to user error. This pillow is supposed to expand for 24-48 hours before use. I waited the full 48 hours and it was great. When I checked on it at the 24 hour mark, it was definitely firmer than the 48 hour mark. I know it’s hard not to use the pillow you’ve just bought because it’s exciting! But really, it’s for the best to follow the instructions and let it expand for the full amount of time.Secondly, I see a lot of complaints that it’s “not cooling”. News flash! No pillow can stay cold *all the time*! That technology does not exist and is currently impossible! It has holes for ventilation, your body gives off heat that transfers to the pillow.Thirdly, the pillow does vary in firmness based on temperature. If it’s warm it’s gonna be a bit softer, if it’s cold it’s gonna be a bit firmer.The reviews are very mixed with people saying “my head sinks down all the way, there’s nothing to it!” and “It’s so firm like a brick! My head doesn’t sink at all!” this confused the crap out of me before buying. I think all of the above factors are the reason for variation in the reviews.I’ll try to give my most unbiased perspective on it. It is firm, I would not call it a brick though. My head sinks about halfway into it. It provides support, but isn’t stiff. It’s not super soft, it does take a minute to sink into. It holds your head in place. I am a side and stomach sleeper and I find it comfortable. I cannot speak for back sleepers. It is very lightweight, but thick, wide, and takes up a decent amount of space. The cover is soft, but you should still put a pillowcase over it. If you don’t like a pillow on the firmer side, you probably won’t like this pillow. If you’re looking for something super soft and squishy, this pillow is not for you. If you are looking for a firm memory foam pillow that keeps you in place, has good neck support, and keeps it’s shape. This pillow is for you.Overall, I like it! I’ve been sleeping on it for a couple weeks and I think it has helped my neck a bit. I’ve been sleeping very soundly and I have no issues. It’s a great price for the quality if it’s what you’re looking for, go for it!

After years of searching for the right pillow this one takes the win for me. I've used cotton, down, solid memory foam, shredded memory foam, among others. This one is firm and keeps its shape over time and when you're sleeping. Some of the other ones I've used taper on the sides so don't really support your whole head very well unless your neck is 10 inches or longer. Another issue I've had is when the pillow gets squished after a few hours of sleeping. I've now been using this pillow for 2 years and it continues to provide the same support as when I first got it. It is tall, so great for side sleeping. I am also a back sleeper. At first I alternated with another pillow type because I wasn't used to the firmness, but now this is the only pillow I use. Not great if you sleep on your stomach because it is relatively firm and tall. Overall, great purchase. I have gifted it to others because it has been such a game changer for my sleep quality!

The first night I slept on this pillow I could not get over how it made my face feel cold. Amazing!! The memory foam is very well made. Does not squish flat like some, instead responds to the weight of your head and still has a good deal of support. This is my first experience with a gel memory foam pillow and for the first time in years, I have not woken up in more pain than when I went to bed. For myself, I do think it needs to be a little bit thicker to take up the gap between the head and bed as I am a side sleeper. It is very comfortable to lay on my back with it as well. Again, the support is amazing, not too hard, not too soft. I did put a fleece pillowcase on it and do not feel the cold feeling on my face anymore, so I would recommend a thinner cover if you desire to feel the coolness. Would def recommend to others who have tried many pillows with back and neck problems in the past with no results. This pillow has helped my neck a great deal and I now have better nights of sleep.

Holy crap this pillow. I’m picky about pillows because I easily get uncomfortable - TMJ, neck, shoulder, ears, get too hot, etc. to the point where I bought myself a fancy Purple pillow (it’s…fine). But I just wanted a decent pillow for a camping trip that can live in my trailer and not have to remember to bring my normal one.This one was pretty inexpensive, so I bought one (I got the king. It’s huge). And now I want to get a smaller one for my bedroom. It’s firm enough without being hard or uncomfortable. It didn’t get too hot at all throughout the night. It felt incredibly supportive for my neck and shoulders and ears. I was so comfy and didn’t wake up with new aches and pains. I felt more cradled than sinking in.I can’t get over what a good buy this was for me. I can’t believe I’m raving about a pillow, but when good sleep is difficult to come by, it’s a miracle when you find the right things to help.

I needed to replace my brand name memory foam pillow that was almost 6 years old because I was starting to have shoulder pain every morning. I was a little worried I might be getting ripped off, but the reviews were right! This pillow is perfect. Has just enough give in it to be comfortable but is still quite firm. No more pain! I’m so glad it comes in travel size because that will be my next purchase. It also is very lightweight which is a big improvement from my last pillow.

I was hoping to get a pillow similar to the one I bought at target which keeps its shape but is soft Unfortunately this pillow is REALLY FIRM. If you are buying it to fill a sham or use as a prop to sit up and watch tv in bed this works great, but if you want a pillow that has a medium amount of give or more, this is the wrong pillow for you.

Have tried many pillows but this one stands out above the rest for me. Stays cool, perfect firmness level, luxurious casing material, and retains shape. Works for your head or around body. Worth the $30-40.

Son muy cómodas, lo que no me gustó es que están muy cuadradas y me cuesta un poco adaptarme cuando me acuesto hasta que van agarrando forma y ya todo está bien.

Es una gran almohada. Estoy cambiando de colchón y almohadas tradiciones a memory foam y esta es mi primera experiencia. La almohada llegó antes que el colchón y lo dejé reposar 24 horas como indica el instructivo, aunque noté que estuvo listo después de 5 horas dejándolo reposar, respeté el instructivo. Al día siguiente lo usé un momento y me quedé dormido sin darme cuenta. En la noche lo utilicé y también caí dormido sin darme cuenta y, lo mejor de todo, sin dolor de cuello.No encuentro ningún defecto de fábrica, ni gusanos, ni bichos como dicen otros comentarios, ni tampoco malos olores, sólo el olor a "nuevo" que se quitó al día siguiente, pero no lo notas al menos que de verdad inhales muy profundo. Es una gran almohada y en promoción es una gran inversión. Como es mi primera almohada memory foam y mi primera experiencia con ellos, no puedo comparar con otras marcas: pero sí puedo decir que es la mejor almohada que he comprado y estoy casi seguro de que también lo disfrutarás.Lo único que podría decir es que tardó 2 días en llegar, pero en realidad vale la pena la espera de esos 2 días más las 24 horas de dejarlo reposar para usarlo; aunque, si tienes alguna emergencia, es mejor que optes por otra compra.

We are using these since 1 month now, and they are holding their shape. We kept them on the terrace for almost 24 hours after receiving it, to refresh the "factory" smell. Placed a pillow protector and then a pillow cover on top, and they are very comfy! Recommend!
