It doesn't have gps. The 6 pin USB connector feeds from phone
The phone interface was tricky to set up. Make sure you enable file transfer from your phone. I'm still setting up rear camera, wish instructions were better for setting that up.

Pretty good for the price. No complaints. Comes with all the wiring you need and has good connection with car play. The back up camera is decent

Affordable solution for some cars
The Reakosound 7 is a viable way of getting your Smartphone to work with a car that did not originally have support for features such as CarPlay for iPhones or Android Auto for Google based Smartphones.I was a bit surprised and disappointed just how lacking the installation instructions were as well as the user guide. The guide itself is a tiny pamphlet of only about 7 pages and the installation is literally four bullet points that refer you to a wiring diagram on page 6 that contains no actual diagram. If you are up to the challenge of self installing it that's fine, but for others, you may want to look for professional installation. The unit itself has a functional 7 inch touchscreen that allows you to operate your Smartphone applications like you would for any connected system. The screen is only TFT which is older screen technology, however it is sufficient for a product in this price category. The unit also contains a microphone so you are able to place phone calls and use the phone's built-in assistant which is really the point of having a system like this. The unit also comes with a backup camera that must be wired into the vehicle if you want to use it. If your car already has a backup camera, this would have to be used in place of that since the idea of this is to replace your stock car screen.Overall, this unit is good enough to get the job done for adding CarPlay and Android Auto into an older car dash. Is contains enough features to make it useful and likely a lot more fun that an original radio. The price point is fantastic and if you can install it yourself, you'll save a lot of money over more expensive units that require detailed professional installations.

Hard to install
Local car audio place refused to install. They said the wires were off. If you can self-install, it's probably fine, or if you have a good friend. I'm not good with wiring, so there's not much I can do.

Really surprised at good this radio is for the price!
I received this radio to review and due to its price point I really didn't expect a lot. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Radio was very thin so you do not need much room in the back to install. It has all the connections you would need for speakers, sub woofer, aux etc. It comes with an included external mic as well as backup camera... INCLUDED.Out of the box the sound quality is really good. Average volume seems to be around the 15-20 mark. (Radio is louder than Car play volume so keep that in mind.)Display definitely needs to be adjusted. Brightness, saturation and Contrast are way off but the options are there to adjust to needed levels. My real ONLY negative thing about this radio is that you have the accessibility button showing up on the bottom right corner of your screen. Even if this option is not enabled on your phone. I tried 3 different iPhones to see if it was just me but all 3 did it. I contacted the seller to see if there was a way to turn it off, which they IMMEDIATELY responded and was very pleasant and helpful but I was unable to disable that icon. Its not a deal breaker and can be moved to ensure its not in your way, AND the seller says it shouldn't be on the screen so I may have received a bad unit. Definitely would not let this deter you from purchase especially for the overall price of the radio. If you are looking for a great way to get Apple Carplay or Android Auto in your vehicle then this is the way to go for sure. Looks just like my wife and daughters car radios with built in Carplay.

Good, cheap Carplay unit
I've reviewed a few of these style of media players in the past, and this one is alright, it's not an Android radio, but it does allow for screen mirroring and Apple CarPlay compatibility. If you aren't familiar with Carplay, and own an Apple phone, I highly suggest it, because of the ease of use, for most, less than tech savvy individuals while maintaining great app capabilities. It's a cheap output device, no cd, no 50watt X4 amp, the sound quality is probably suitable for most people who aren't audiophiles. The touchscreen is responsive with only a slight delay, the camera works, the picture is usable but on the grainy side with the included video composite cable, want a better picture, buy a better cable, something that blocks radiated noise or at the least reduces it's effects. Overall, this is a great CarPlay enabled media player, it's the cheapest CarPlay touchscreen I have seen so far.
