Wells E01704 Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit

Installed easy in my '94 k1500 suburban with TBI 5.7 (350). Made in Mexico, seems sturdy and well-made, with brass contacts. Truck fired right up and runs great.

It was a perfect fit

I could not get Factory merc cap and rotors shipped locally -no way was I gonna us aluminum terminal caps and spring type rotors that lots of venders are selling. These have the correct rotor, are brass terminal, mounting screw are junk and should be greased and painted but…fit nice, rotor fits nice and tight-two Hp 500 Efi are happy again -

When Brass contact components are available is what I will always go for in preference to the cheap white metal Aluminum parts. In lieu of individual cylinder coils, so prevalent these days, our older vehicles still go with distributor caps where you get that bit of arc as each cylinder fires. Even better would be noble metal contacts but we only have so many choices.

Fit as well as factory products,, and I believe for the difference in price at auto parts stores,anyone would be happy with this product

Initially the rotor wad a bit difficult to push on the distributor shaft due to a bit of plastic molding flashing but a knife blade cleared that up and the cap and rotor work perfectly.

For 1995 Chev Tahoe 5.7. The cap fit well. The rotor looks correct but the ID is too small to go on the distributor shaft.I would return it but already had the wires on the cap ready to go in.So now I have the old rotor and the new cap in the vehicle.EDIT: Since my review and without asking, I was refunded for the price of the cap and rotor. I assume it was from the supplier so I am adding a star to the review.
