The lever is plastic and broke. Has to be replaced. Poor investment.

The piece is solid. Installs well and easily. Is DEFINITELY NOT 3-way which I wanted, but I wasn't going to bother to return and try something else because it is build very substantially. After the rainfall head with the shower arm I had purchased earlier detached and landed on my head and foot I just wanted something simple and I now have the simplest. This is good hardware but do be aware that it does not operate as a 3-way flow part. Either the wand or the showerhead works but not both at once.

It's too bad you've gotta point this out, but the plastic faux couplets sold here and elsewhere make it necessary to highlight the products that are normal weight and strength and life expectancy to be what you need. Oh yeah, I don't like plastic parts -- they AREN't made to last -- they're made to replace. All that crap said, the price is a little too close to the Home Depot price range for my satisfaction, but I bought it, ans I'm glad I went for quality.

Solid brass plumbing switch. The only two position switch I could find. I don’t want the hand held shower and the overhead shower on at the same time, but someone has decided that’s what everyone want. Thank you Near moon for making the switch I wanted.

Very well made solid brass and NO SHINY Plastic anywhere.

This product was ok to install but broke after only 3 uses. It was very hard to turn.
