U22 XT cosMik Set: All-In-One Recording Bundle with Interface, Mic, Headphones, and Software for Professional Studio Quality

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect of this set. I'd never heard of this company and there's a lot of cheaply made stuff out there that people just getting into broadcasting or recording get duped into buying only to realize they've wasted their hard earned money on junk. This is NOT junk.You get the interface, with dual input and dual output, mic preamp with +48V phantom power, instrument input, RCA line input, TRS line output, headphone out, ADC, DAC and monitors/controls for input, output and master volume. It's pretty solid and you get a good preamp in a tiny package.The microphone is a condenser mic rather than dynamic so take that into consideration. Cardioid polar pattern. 1" diaphragm, decent dynamic range and max. It sounds great, but so much of your results and experience will depend on your room's acoustics and your unique voice and vocal needs.The monitoring headphones are large, comfortable and the on-the-ear type rather than over or in ear. Good sized drivers. Good frequency response. You get clear, true, audio with no real loss of low or high end. You get the best results from this as well as the microphone by connecting it to an interface to get you the phantom power, amplification, ADC and DAC needed to process and convert the audio signal. They too are better than I expected.On top of those 3, you get all the wiring and accessories to connect and use it all, plus a very generous array of software/apps to get you going on producing, recording, sequencing, mixing and such. It's an incredible set in my opinion and one of the best all-in-one type recording bundles available for folks getting started or even experienced folks that don't need a massive mixing board or super expensive equipment. This would be great for people on the go given it's relative portability. No individual part in this is prohibitively big. So I highly recommend it.

I've been using SSL2 for more than 3 years, and I was thinking to buy something cheaper for my second system, so I got this interface which is a complete package. Let me start with the interface works great and I could connect my guitar and mic together. Microphone is good enough for recording a podcast or just talk and record, but not for singing because while I was recording, I could hear a lot of noise in my recording. Headphones are good enough for a professional studio. To wrap this up, if you are a beginner, this probably will work for you, but not for professional music makers.

This recording bundle is exactly as described and looks exactly as it does in the vendor's pictures.As a former Audio Engineer I have to take exception to calling this "Professional".Considering that a decent pair of headphones alone will cost you twice what this does ... well, you see where I'm going with this.However, to be fair, this bundle does do everything it says it will. Great kit for beginners and an easy way to get your instruments, audio feeds and mic connected to your computer where it can be recorded and manipulated using the software that comes with/can be downloaded for it.Lots of good features and it's prety accurate in it's conversion from analog to digital. It's also pretty quiet with almost no noise added.For those wanting a rig to start Podcasting or something similar, this is a good start. Obviously, a camera needs to be added for that.Considering the utility of this and how well it's made, I would call this a pretty good bargain and a good value.

I ordered this as a complete and compact basic studio bundle for our particular needs, including voice-generated recordings (books, podcasts, etc.). It did not disappoint. The bundle comes with a small box (the audio interface), condenser microphone and table stand (not in my picture), all necessary cords, and headphones. It was easy to hook up the cords and set up the studio. My husband tested it using a recording program already loaded on his computer. The recording sounded just like my husband, no distortion. It had clear sound clarity. The headphones were terrific and comfortable; my husband called them excellent. Plus, they fit a very large head with no problem. The audio interface box mixes between left and right channels, has volume control, and can handle dual mic inputs. The user can adjust the volume of the recording and playback; the audio interface doesn't offer controls to adjust bass and treble during recording. This bundle will get someone up and recording almost immediately. It's packaged nicely and is a giftable item. I hope this information is helpful.

First upon hooking it up, USB Powered and all, it looks small, but hey MIGHTY Things come in tiny packages and this is one of those thing. I'm not to this type of stuff. Going to do some podcasting, and just overall recording some youtube videos. I needed something decent, didn't have to be fantastic. And..for my purposes it's absolutely beyond reason fantastic.If the accoustics in the room you're using it in are good, you'll hear nothing but what you want to hear in your recordings. If you have the gain and the dials set appropriately, that will help as well. The software is pretty much top notch to me, at least it has everything I could want. The headphones are professional studio quality and are so light on your head you don't even realize they're ON your head.I can't say much else at the moment, but the more I use it, I'll keep updating this review! But beyond reason, 10/10

Nice well made microphone, headphones and amp. Easy to set up and use, sound quality is excellent. Would recommend!
