Replacement is perfect! Updated review
Original review:I received a dilapidated box. The box edges were not even together but had been broken apart. Clearly it was opened before. The item itself was dirty, very used, mistreated and then returned. When I purchase an item I except it to be new. Not happy. Will be returning.Updated review:returned item for a replacement. Replacement came new. The product works well and has done exactly what I hoped for. Use it for working with polymer clay. It works great! Updating my stars from 1 to 5

Doesn’t work well
I bought this, returned it. It stopped working on the first day. They sent a replacement… and again it stopped working. The back roller keeps breaking & it doesn’t turn with the rest of the machine. Also…Yes the handle falls off, but that’s will all machines. Highly disappointed in this! Now I’m stuck with something that doesn’t work.

It's not perfect, but does the job.
I read the reviews that the handle kept falling off and, yes, that happened to me as well. However, it's a simple fix. I just added some paper towel pieces into the "hole" then put the handle in. Works like a charm. I also read about the first time rolling clay and how it left dirty/stain on the clay. So I wiped the rollers first with a paper towel then ran the paper towel a few times thru the roller on all levels until all signs of "dirt" disappeared. When I rolled my first piece of clay thru, it was spotless. I wish it had a way to keep the side that's not clamped down from moving, but I adjusted how tight I had it clamped to my table and that helped. When I rolled heavier/larger pieces of clay thru, I just held that side down which worked just fine. I didn't want to spend a zillion dollars on a clay press (aka, just a pasta press for which I already spent tons on the Kitchenaid one for my pasta) so after reading all the reviews, this one seemed to be the best for the value and ratings. I'm very happy with it. I would have rated it a 5 but for the few issues I mention above.

Is it the best one out there? No.
I purchased this for use with polymer clay. The plastic 'grip' on the handle broke off in pieces within the first couple of uses and I had to remove the rest of it in order to continue comfortably using it. I found that the rollers left flat spots on the clay and they were also pretty difficult to clean. I had to regularly re-secure the machine to the table because it would become loose after minimal usage. The overall operation was very clunky. These machines aren't inexpensive, but with this one sharing a similar price point with others I would spend the extra $10-$15 on brand name that will work as intended.

Easy and fun!!
Nice quality! Works great! I do wish the handle had a locking feature; it comes out easily (for storage).

This is worth the buy
It is easy to set up and it does the job. You can adjust the thickness with the knob on the side. I would definately recommend

It was okay, until it needed cleaning...
The press worked fine, it wasn't a smooth crank however and caused some problems not pressing the clay evenly. Once the rollers got dirty, I removed the guides to clean then and the entire unit fell apart. I tried to put it back together, but not everything would line up and the guides got bent, so the whole thing went into the trash. Now I have to find a better press. I only rated this 2 stars because it half-worked. The cheap metal bent easily.
