The White Board Eraser for Professionals
If you use a white board for training or facilitating, or just use your whiteboard all the time, this is fantastic! Yes, I get excited about white boad erasers and dry erase markers. The handle helps you get leverage for difficult to erase spots. The pad is shaped like an iron and comes to a point for precision erasing of small spots. There are multiple eraser pads so when the current one is saturated and no longer cleans well, you peel it off to reveal a clean one. Pro tip: You can clean them and reuse the dirty ones by soaking them in a bin of warm soapy water. This is not a small eraser, so take that into consideration when making your.

Best eraser ever
As a high school teacher I am erasing my whiteboards constantly and many times I am so frustrated that instead of erasing them and not leaving marks, the eraser stain them even more. This one does the job and I am not frustrated as I was before. Leaves no marks at all and my boards are clean.

Unbelievable life span!
Not available in office supply stores. I was surprised by life span of this one.. if a layer is saturated, peel it off and you have a new eraser..I like that it has pointed tip: you can precisely erase a letter.

This is the Coolest Eraser!
Our son uses a melamine board to work out his Algebra problems, and so he uses an eraser a lot. His old eraser, the standard rectangular one, was looking pretty gross, and there wasn't much we could do with it, although we did try to wash it a time or two. When I was purchasing another melamine board recently, I came across this eraser. It is great. It has a holder for the eraser, that has a magnet back on it, so it just stays at one end of the board, ready for him to use when he needs it. No more hunting for that darned eraser! Also, this eraser is great, because when it gets dirty, you are supposed to be able to peel back the bottom layer, and you are ready to go! I think you can do this 6 times, before you need a replacement. We haven't tried to do this yet, so I don't know if it works as advertised, or not.The shape of this eraser fits nicely in the hand, and with the pointy edge, it will fit into tight places, without erasing much of the other writing you are trying to preserve. I like it so much, I am thinking about getting one for my melamine board I keep on the fridge to write my grocery list on. Very handy, and not too expensive!

Excellent product.
I didn't have the adhesion issues some people reported with the magnetic back, which was nice. So far it's stuck to the side of the fridge very well, and the whole thing feels very sturdily made. It does an excellent job of erasing our "generic" whiteboard surface, and generally doesn't leave any streaks while doing it. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs something like this mounted out of reach of small, prying hands.

Keeps my fingernails from disentegrating
If you're a teacher, ever wondered why your fingernails grow nicely all summer, then become papery and peel once school starts? My teacher-friends and I have a theory that it's the whiteboard residue that eats away at them! Besides, my nails get black under the edges from erasing. I've used the Expo eraser for years now, and I swear, my fingernails aren't so bad!Speaking of peeling, I like to peel off one layer of these refills once each month - I believe there are 7 layers. (Dec and June are short months, so this lasts the school year.Don't use cleaner with these, though. Use the eraser to erase, then a rag and windex to clean the board. Yes, you heard me, an ammonia-based cleaner. If you read the instructions that come with whiteboards (most people peel them off and don't read them) it says "DON'T use white board cleaner, it ruins the finish. Use an ammonia-based cleaner" (like windex). Just do it after school so kids don't breathe it, eh?

Does the trick
Very solid whiteboard eraser. Be aware that it has layers that you can peel off for a fresh eraser when it gets too dirty.
