Very sensitive to time signal
I like everything about this clock. The light is just right at night, the numbers are large and easy to read, the thermometer is useful, I love the dual alarms, and it synchronizes with the time signal every night. I have it on my night table in my room on the second floor of a brick house. It is very sensitive because I live 3100 miles away from the time signal transmitter in South America and it picks up the signal every single night.

Great for bedside
I keep this clock on my nightstand. It’s handy to have the room temperature, date and time convenient. Being to push the lever on top to see the information just adds to its convenience. Also, no need to have to reset it each time the darned time changes!! It does it automatically!!

Nice small bedside alarm clock
The Geevon alarm clock overall is nice but does have one big problem with auto DST adjustment.I use the clock as a bedside alarm. The size of the time text is easily read. However, the alarm, date, and temperature sections can be difficult to read if you have aging eyes. The two alarms each have a dedicated switch that makes it easy to turn the alarms on and off. I also like that the clock always displays the alarm times at the top of the screen. There is a dedicated switch on the back of the clock that will enable/disable the auto night light feature where the clock dimly glows at night. I found this feature to work well without being too bright. However, after using for a while, I decided to not use this feature to save battery life. The night light can be activated for a few seconds when you press the top button (which also functions as a snooze button). When activated manually, the backlight is much brighter than the all-night auto glow and does a good job of illuminating the whole display.I live in south Alabama and the clock does a good job of receiving the time signal each night. However, there is one big problem I find that this feature has. It does not auto adjust for daylight savings time until the following day. In other words, it will receive the signal successfully at 1:00 AM. However, it does not correctly adjust the hour forward or backward until the following day. This resulted in my clock being one hour slow or fast on DST day which is a problem if you are using this alarm clock to wake you up in the mornings. My guess is that the clock is correctly receiving the time at 1:00 AM. However, the hour adjustment does not occur until 2:00 AM. So, the clock does not get the correctly adjusted time until the following day at 1:00 AM. If there was a way to force the clock to receive the time signal after 2:00 AM, then that would probably fix the issue. However, there does not seem to be a way to do this.

Stay Away From Geevon!
I needed to replace our two-alarm battery clock and tried to find the same replacement. When I was unsuccessful I looked at various clocks that used the Atomic Clock for time. I also read that bluish light was not compatible for a good night's sleep. The display is what first attracted me - no blue background. The instructions are on both sides of a paper a little larger than an index card. I did need to use the instructions to set it up. The time zone is measured in terms of how many hours behind GMT your time zone is. It appears to be good only for the continental US so Hawaiians need to find something else. I also like the ability to switch from 12 hours to 24 hours and the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celcius (I live in the US and just like to see something different). The only thing I haven't figured out is how to change the language of the days of the week. The instructions imply this can be done but I haven't seen it.The alarms beep loudly, first starting with two beeps, then to three, then into overdrive. If I get up early and forget to turn off the alarm I can hear it all over the house. The only thing I *hate* about this clock is that it goes "haywire". For some reason it stops keeping the correct time and has to be reset. It doesn't have a low-battery indicator and I've had the problem even after I've replaced the battery.Customer Support really needs to be improved. I went to Geevon's website and tried to find the clock itself (did a search using most of the words in the title and could not find it even though it appears to still be available. The Support screen says that Geevon product support is now offered exclusively through email. It also recommends that a user visit its support page for general support, frequently asked questions, to submit a request, and more. That doesn't make sense since I'm on the support page already. The "Help" button doesn't work. I haven't had to contact Customer Support and hope that I never have to.I would give an overall rating of 3.5 stars because of Customer Service.UPDATED REVIEW: Today is December 2, 2023 and last week this clock completely quit working. When this alarm went haywire last week I replaced the batteries and tried to reset it. No such luck.I tested the replacement batteries and had full power so I reinserted them. Still no luck.I tried to reset the clock. No luck.I ended up pitching it. It's a shame because it had all of the features that I wanted: dual alarm, battery-operated, sync'ed with the atomic clock, daylight savings time adjuster and time zone adjuster (only for the US - including Alaska and Hawaii - and Canada). Now I have to search for another. It took me long enough to find this one.I didn't bother emailing customer service - it's pretty lousy when there is no telephone number or chat for product support.Time to look again. Sigh.

Only worked for 3 weeks on the road
This device only worked for three weeks of. traveling. Every time I took it out of the suitcase I have to reset it because the batteries would move. Today when I took it out, it was all locked up and wouldn’t let me reset it it’s trash. It was a nice design and a nice back light, but doesn’t hold up to travel.

Doesn't have AK time zone
Good little clock. I like the backlight, the alarms and temp gauge. The instructions were pretty good, but they indicate that there is an option to adjust your timezone and give all US timezones in the instruction set. Problem is not all the US timezones are actually in the clock! I know others who reviewed this complain about not having international time zones available, but Americans aren't exempt either. So the you have to manually set the clock without using the "atomic" feature. So that sucks, but other than that its a good item!
