We installed this into the outflow of our pump on our 13x42 above ground pool and started running it right away. It took all of 5 minutes to screw together and start flowing water. We are located in north Florida and it’s been a brutal month of May and early June. No rain and really hot.We checked the temperature of the pool before turning it on and we were at around 89 degrees before dark. The next morning the pool was down to 84 degrees. Perfect temperature.We continued to let it run thinking we would hang around 84… well the next morning we checked again and it was 80 degrees. Now I had to hear the kids complaining all day about it being TO COLD!Now a lot of this will come down to the size of the pump you are running. We have a variable speed speck pool pump that really pushes water. That really helped get the water in the air to cool it off.Definitely worth buying if you need to cool your pool down.

This is easy enough to assemble and install, but it just didn't work in my 11,000 gallon in-ground pool. First, the riser is not long enough to get the fountains high enough above the pool water. Second, you cannot make it longer because the PVC pipe is not a standard size. Third, even when I let the water get low enough for the fountains to spray, I just didn't see any reduction in pool water temperature, and I let it run continuously for 48 hours. To be fair, I'm in Dallas and it was over 100 during the day and only got down to maybe 85 at night.Ended up returning it.

If you need a fountain/aerator for your above ground pool, this is sufficient. Works as it should. Adjustable in many different ways. Easy to set up. Slightly flimsy but honestly it’s inexpensive. Definitely worth the cost.

Works as advertised. I installed on the booster pump line and the picture shows the fountain operating with pressure relief valve fully closed and boost pump off so only the VSP through boost pump line is operating. If I want then I can open relief valve and turn on boost pump for a much higher fountain. I don’t know do t know why anyone would need the more expensive one.

So it claimed it comes with the adapter to connect to the output of the pump wall connection. It does, but does not work for the best way/ intex etc pool. These pools have a 40mm output thread. The adapter is way too small. When you try to find the correct one which is part# intex adapter 11329, no one has it in stock. Walmart wants 40 bucks. While intex website is like 2.88, but is not available. So trying to 3d print my own adapter.

Got this for a few reasons but mainly to help cool the pool. Fit perfectly, key provided to remove the inner threaded connector was very helpful. No adaptor needed, screwed straight in. Replaced two Hayward directional inlet. Photo is with the pump at 80% spraying out a little less than 10'. The rubber oring type sealing rings were not the easiest to get in straight but managed in the end.

Do you need a particular filter for this to work? We cannot get water to come out of it. I don't know if it's because our filter is not strong enough.
