Good quality and good price

This suits my needs perfectly.

Decent box for the money, the 3/4 to 1/2 reducing bushings are VERY brittle! 3 completely broke/shattered tightening up. Adapters are very hard and fragile PVC, boxes seem a more forgiving (softer PVC). Fortunately most of the connectors were 3/4". *Note the screws that come with a weather proof cover are too long for this box, they will not tighten up all the way to secure the gasket and cover to the box. They were about 3-4 threads too long. I used the screws that came with the GFCI receptacle to secure.

I question the resin (raw plastic material) used to manufacture/mold this item. The so called PVC seems cheap and/or poor quality.Upon arrival it had broken mounting tabs (protruding to the left/ right in a portrait orientation). Requested replacement and upon that arrival - same broken tabs. Since I don’t have time for this supplier to ‘get it right’ I proceeded to use it ‘as is’. After running wires into box, I installed an everyday light switch typed toggle switch and as I inserted and began to snug the switch mounting screws the plastic mount cracked and toggle switch could not be secured. Home Depot sells Clarion PVC electrical boxes which perform better and seem more durable.

I am going to use to install a solar light that was purchased previously

One of the mounting tabs was broken in the shipping bag when this box arrived. Oh well, I didn’t need them all, so I installed the box anyway and another tab broke when I screwed the box in place.
