Very well-made, but not the quietest watch Winder. But the sound fades into the background noise easily. I purchased two other watch Winders before this one that were quieter, but the build quality was very poor. This one is great.

Quality and quiet

This unit is handsome as well as functional. Comes with 2 sizes of pads to hold your watch. 4 in total. Is extremely quiet. I don't keep it in my bedroom but I probably could put it on my night stand and it makes little or no noise. Works on the included adapter or on batteries.***Update***I bought a second one and keep them both on my nightstand. As long as the unit is closed, it is silent.

Got this winder about a week ago and out of the box, it was awesome. The design is clean, simple, and seems to be of relatively good quality. Unlike 90% of the garbage you see for sale, this actually allows you to regulate TPD to avoid overwinding your watch (yes, I know you can't really overwind your modern automatics, but you don't want to always keep them at fully wound coil spring tension).One thing that does slightly displease me is the fact that the pillows/holders latch onto the holding positions with with two little plastic hooks on the sides. While I understand watch winders aren't made to last decades, I'm concerned this is going break in the not too distant future, as these little plastic hooks/latches do not appear to be the strongest.Overall, not bad at all. I will say though, the watch winder market is absurd. A little box with silent electric motors and regulated TPB shouldn't cost several hundred of dollars. I don't recommend being cheap winders going for $30-$50 (if I remember correctly, they do only 2 min on 6 min off cycles, with about 2880 TPD). Solid buy. Is it worth $200? I don't think so, but it's one of the best deals you're going to find.

I purchased this Dual Watch Winder on Amazon (vs Rothwell direct) and had an issue with the Watch Holders being too large. My watches are 7" sizing and could not load them unless I extended the bracelets to the dive suit position. I emailed Rothwell directly explaining my situation and the owner, Justin, emailed me back right away. Free of charge, he shipped out a pair of the newer, smaller sizing that day and boom...a perfect fit!The overall build quality of this Winder seems very solid but to be honest, I am a bit nervous about motor life. The Winder I am replacing lasted 8 years on a single set of Lithium batteries. I decided to roll the dice on Rothwell and although I am not expecting these motors to last that long, hoping to get at least 3-4 years out of them... time will tell.All in all, a great Winder. Very pleased and highly recommend!

The wonder is solid, look wonderful. The only small issue I have is the motors are a bit loud, I can hear a pretty loud whining sounds from them.

The unit is extremely quiet. I have it plugged in and turned on all the time in my bed room. It is extremely quiet and working as expected.
