Broke after 1 day
Installed fine then failed. The plastic maki up the body of the “claw” mechanism broke after 1 day under the stress of the bolts used to install it

Look carefully at size!
My gate is made of 1 3/8" tubing, my post is 2 1/2" pipe. This fits a gate with tubing of 1 5/8" diameter, and is a loose fit (and cannot be tightened on my gate of (a much more standard size) 1 3/8" diameter tubing. This also says it fits a 2 1/2" to 3"post; it is very loose on my 2 1/2" post but would work properly on a 3" post.Carefully measure your gate and post sizes, and order carefully. This catch will fit a more "Commercial" size gate.

Good Lock
Good gate lock. Shame it's not made to fit the standard chainlink gate. Standard chainlink gate has 1 1/4" sizr pipe. This gate lock has 1 5/8"fittings That's 1/2" too large. I used pieces of conduit to take up the space so that I could get an inspection on my pool fence. Pain in the ass. Apparently the lock is not made in the size to fit a chainlink gate, too bad

Ad should indicate radius for attachment
Ok product but need to know the radius of attachment poles or it won’t fit
