BSTEAN 1ml 1cc Syringe with Luer Slip Tip, No Needle, Non-Sterile (Pack of 150)

I'm so glad I got these. They are easy to read and are low loss....meaning the plunger has an extra piece at the end that pushes all of the medicine out of the syringe and not waste what's usually left over in the tip. I needed a good syringe for medicines for my dog. These are perfect. I recommend placing a piece of clear scotch tape over the numbers/lines to seal them off when you wash these. The lettering comes off very easy, unless you put tape over them. They are made for one use (stamped on the side), but you have used these until the plunger doesn't work well anymore....usually about 2-3 weeks.

I have a 3 yr old kitty that was recently diagnosed with heart disease. He has 4 medications, 2 of them in liquid form, which he'll have shoved down his throat the rest of his life. Both liquids are TWICE A DAY! Both came with a couple syringes each. One of the meds is thick and oil based and was stopping up the plunger within 3 days of use so it was difficult to use with a squirming cat. I found these syringes and I'm so glad I did! There's the black tip on the plunger part that makes all of the medication come out so it's not being wasted. The others didn't empty completely since the plunger didn't reach through to the tip opening, and they have wider tips so more medicine was going to waste. I'm using a separate syringe for each med, and after 7 doses so far the one for the thick oily medication is still working well and isn't getting stuck. I am so glad I found these and will be ordering them again!

Got these to measure oral meds for my cat. The measurement markings are clear, so they are easy to use. What sets these syringes apart is that there is no dead space in the slip tip. The rubber tip of the plunger is shaped to fit the tip, so there is no wasted medication left in the tip. Very nice, since medication is very pricey. Also makes it easy to wash so it can be used numerous times. Good deal at a fair price.

The tip of these syringes are too narrow/small to fit securely in the top of the medicine bottle (Berry brand 14 oz medication bottle) for the syringe. See the photograph. This syringe is white and is compared with an appropriate sized Baxter brand syringe (both are 1 ML). I learned this when trying to draw medication into the syringe; the syringe could not be held securely and medication dripped down the sides of the syringe. This makes dosging impossible and wastes expensive medication. In addition - the body of the syringe is not stiff and the plunger does not move smoothly so dosing is made difficult in this regard as well. For accurate sizing with the Berry brand bottle of my medication the Baxter and Exacta brands (10 ml and 1 ml syringes) fit.

I did not realize these were not for medical use. My own fault — I didn’t read the listing since they looked exactly like the sterile syringes I usually order (backordered).On the package it clearly states they are for “Industrial Use Only... Not Medical”. Fortunately, I can use them for crafting, although I originally purchased them for oral medication administration for my dog’s liquid prescriptions. I’m sure they are probably just fine for oral liquid medicines since oral meds do not require sterile syringes, but I do have industrial use for them.Bottom line — I am still very happy with my purchase since these syringes are the same great quality — clear precise markings and no plunger sticking — just like the sterile syringes I usually order.
