Good value
Have had this monitor for over a year at this point. Works well and is very smooth.

Just received it, but great monitor
Update: If your display keeps flickering black seemingly at random or when you click on a window, make sure you disable GSYNC in the Nvidia control panel. Apparently it's when you have a HDMI source, even if you use DisplayPort with this monitor. If it happens at all just disable it, it isn't worth the hassle unless you use this as a secondary monitor to a real GSYNC monitor.I followed another review's instructions for a beautiful HDR display: Enable HDR in Windows settings, set NVIDIA color settings (bottom of 'change resolution' option) to YCbCr422, 10bpc, and limited range. Make sure to enable HDR in the monitor's settings OSD.In HDR mode it is beautiful and runs/looks great at 144hz or more. HDR is a bit too bright for me, so I set it back to SDR with mid brightness and it looks pretty good/standard. You really need to mess with the display settings in either your OS or the monitor itself to get it right, don't freak out if it looks wrong when you first get it.Overall this monitor is exactly as described and looks amazing if you enable HDR. My biggest complaint is the cheap/wobbly stand. I'd recommend getting a good replacement if possible. I had no issues with brightness except with HDR, but that's par for the course. Light bleed seemed perfectly acceptable to me, even with HDR enabled. OSD controller know is easy and intuitive, made it easy even with another monitor bordering the edge. I highly recommend this monitor, I upgraded from a CB271HU and it's much nicer.

Fantastic monitor for the price
I was shopping for a monitor since I have been laptop gamer for my entire gaming career. I saw this monitor had good reviews, so I checked it out and decided to buy it.First off, it was extremely simple to but the monitor together and plug it into my laptop! It was very quick and easy. This monitor actually boosts my FPS compared to when I was playing on just the laptop. I am also able to run the same amount of FPS on 2560x1440 (2k) compared to 1920x1080 (1080p).The monitor works smoothly in game and for daily use. The 0.5ms response time is very quick and smooth. There is basically no delay when pressing onto the keys on my keyboard while typing and moving in game. The 170 hz response time and the vibrant colors make gaming look a whole lot better when compared to my laptop. It is really a huge difference and makes my gaming experience a lot more enjoyable. There is a ton of adjustability on this monitor. There is way more than I even need, but it is good that there are more options available.I don't know if this is just me but I am able to set my res to 4K when it is advertise to go up to 2K. I guess this is a good bonus for me.

Bang for your buck 1440p
I've had this on my list for about 6 months and finally pulled the trigger. I am very happy I did. I upgraded from 1080p 144hz and the difference is night and day.Response times: 5/5 - Everything feels snappy.Color: 4/5 - Color depth looks fantastic, 1440p shows so much detail. Only thing to note is that a black screen is bright to look at. Not "backlight bleed" kind of bright but based on your viewing angle. A bit of messing around with settings has solved this for me mostly. Here are my settings in case anyone finds them helpful:Picture:- Brightness 100 (for gaming. otherwise I turn it down because it is BRIGHT)- Contrast 50- Black boost 4 (helped with the brightness issue talked about earlier)- Blue light off- ACM off- HDR off- super sharp off- HDR offColor:- Gamma 2.2- color temp User- Gain R:52, G:47, B:51- Bias all 50

DO NOT BUY: Bricked and Useless in less than Two Years
I purchased two of these monitors to use in a dual monitor setup. For a while they seemed fine enough and worth the money, however just short of having had them for two years BOTH monitors suddenly stopped working in short order of one another. Now when powered on instead of displaying my computer's output I'm instead treated to the Acer being flashed every three seconds as the monitor turns itself off and endlessly.Needless to say it is unacceptable for a product to fail from less than two years of use, especially two of themI am now in the process of trying to get Acer to honor the three year warranty that these monitors come with, but I've come to very much doubt anything substantive will come of it. They're insisting that I ship the monitors back to them for repair at cost to me with the possibility that they might decide to charge me additionally for repair work. It's looking very likely that the cheapest way for me to "fix" my Acer monitors will be to instead buy new monitors from a different company.I'd recommend anyone reading this review skip the step in that process that involves being out ~600USD because ASUS is bad company with bad product. Just something else without the Acer logo on it.
