It doesn’t crack your back as advertised. It give some relief only when your on it. As soon as you get up your back starts again.

This Review is for the Back Stretcher(4-Level), Back Cracker, Back Cracking Device for Back Pain Relief, Adjustable Multi-Level Back Support Back Massage, Upper & Lower Back Muscle Pain Relief for Sciatica, Scoliosis. I have some lower back issues, and if I lift the kids too much when playing or moving boxes, I find some mild discomfort that night on my lower back. I noticed just inserting something like a pillow under my back provided some relief, so I wanted to try out this device. This device does work to provide relief to my lower back, I use it on beginner setting, and I place a light dish towel over the device, and it provides pressure in the lower back region to provide temporary relief and adjustment.

So this product does exactly what it says it will do. It will stretch your lower and upper back. So it seems it is not for comfort but for therapeutic purposes. So you will have to be careful, bc used not as directed can be very uncomfortable. That being said, I used it and did stretch my back, felt my spine decompress and relieved my tension in my muscles. I would put maybe a towel for those that are not used to this type of stretch.

I really have to get used to using this back stretcher!Trying to do whatever it takes to relieve pain in my lower back from DDD, so I honestly don't know if this will work for me.It hurt even on lowest setting and I haven't used it again since because I need to find out if I should continue this type of stretching from a professional as it states in the packaging.If you don't have a chronic pain issue, this may be perfect to keep your back in line and help prevent issues later, but make sure if you do have ongoing issues you check with a spine specialist before using it, just to be safe.I gave it four stars because it really does what it say it does and it is sturdy as well. I just need to talk with a specialist to make sure this type of thing won't cause more harm than good in my own situation.

I've been using a 6 inch diameter foam roller to stretch my back but found that it is uncomfortably hard and obviously not adjustable. This back stretcher allows me to adjust the curvature and amount of stretch I want to do. It is somewhat flexible which, to me, makes it a lot more comfortable.There weren't really any instructions that accompanied the appliance. Some minor assembly is required. A loose strip of foam is included and I wasn't quite sure how I was supposed to attach it to the stretcher since it does not have any adhesive on it. Once I looked up the item again on Amazon, it was pretty easy to figure it out.I haven't decided if I like the bumps/nodes on the stretcher. They are a little too hard and pointy for my liking...maybe I'll get used to it. If not, I think I'll grind/smooth them down a little bit.

The three settings are very beginner level. Three is a bit painful but it feels as though that should be level three. Aside from that it is easy to put together and compact to store.
