Good bang for the buck
This review will likely mirror others. The boxes when delivered came one large and heavy one light with just the base in it. They should have put the nuts and bolts in the smaller box as it looked good on arrival. The larger box weighed approx 65+lbs and was no longer box shaped... and had a few sad holes in it I'll get back to the holes later. To the sellers shipping department I give some credit as they reinforced both ends for about 12 inches....I'm quite certain that the additional $1.50 in card board and time to double box the entire thing would have been well spent. I think they just toss the parts in as every part had shipping rash aka chipped paint ...not a big deal just shows cheap paint and careless packing.A few of the welds make me wonder a bit....and I will be running a better bead on them with the arc welder and 7018 sticks because I dont like heavy things falling and most things ill be picking up will cost more than the crane. You will have to completely unwind the winch cable and remove it from the spool, then thread it back through the boom and reattach it. ...its a cheap winch and will be replaced with electric winch anyway in my case....but looks like it will do the job if you choose to use itThere should be spaces to keep the wheels/line guides centered...even nylon would work well...there are none suggest you use washers there.Oh back to the holes in the box.....did you know nuts and bolts can escape through them while being shipped....so had to buy nuts bolts washers lock washers to complete the build ...not expensive just annoying. There were no bolts for the base to mount to whatever you want to mount it to....not unexpectedly as they couldn't guess what we would mount it to or how...so I get that. I used 8 grade 8 bolts 5/8" diameter ,16 grade 8 washers, 8 grade 8 nuts, 8 grade 8 lock washers. You could if you choose use grade 8. 1/2" bolts and nuts to attach the swivel to the crane body.In my case I bought this for my welding trailer and secured it to a weldment I fabricated.I also noted a drain hole on the bottom of the base....off center, for mine I enlarged this from 5/8" to 1.5" and on center. It will allow me to weld a short 1 1/4" rod to the swivel part and attach a geared drive so I can set it up for powered traverse. Combined with electric winch this will give me joystick single handed powered operation and let me stand back when moving items. That's my basic reviewPros and cons nowProsCan barely build it for cost of parts....time to build it from scratch would made it a pointless project, better to buy it and tweak it a bit.Looks to be solid enough it would likely be fine out of the box.Great price...Basically a fixed mounted swiveling cherry picker with a winch.Roller bearing on baseConsRoller bearing on base...should have 2 one up on top of swivel and one on bottom...it only has one.Mediocrity overall in regards to welds, and winch, and rollers.Somewhat weak swivel locking mechanism. No good way to secure handles for jack or swivel, I'll be addressing it soon and will try to post a picture.Cheap paintLame boxA picture for directions....though its relatively straightforward some might like step by step directions.ConclusionYes I would definitely buy it again...or suggest it to others. The pics are of it folded...on welding trailer and other lifting a complete dana 60 ford rear end approximately 450lbs 50% of its capacity. Did it effortlessly. So changed my review to 5 stars due to bang for buck value.

Damaged in shipping
I haven’t used it yet, but it appears to be a well built jib, exactly what I need to lift my PWC. The reason I am only giving it 2 stars is because the packaging was terrible. It arrived with a broken winch handle, missing paint, and the hardware bag busted open with nuts and bolts lost and thrown about the box.

Dont waste your money!
This thing couldn't lift a 600lb jet ski out of the water for the third time without blowing the seal.

Feels rugged enough; Balance is good. --Packaging is going to cause some scuffing and maybe some lost bolts/washers.
Loose nuts and bolts in weak plastic bag, causing one washer to be lost in shipment; else, the item was as I'd expected; a little ding'ed up from shipment, but painted for the most part. Assembly was easy enough, but I recommend building it near to the install site because this thing weighs a lot to carry down 40 feet of steps like I just did! The main pivot assembly has a sizeable bearing (weight bear at the base of the post) and a bushing (on the neck) that needs to be greased during install; DON'T leave this dry or you'll regret it! In all, I am happy with my purchase... it will be used to pluck my Jet Skis out of the Chesapeake where the tide oscillates ~ 2 feet in depth daily. One inconvenience is that you'll have to unwind the entire winch line to feed it backwards up the assembly or else it won't thread due to the press-fitted hook on the business end of the cable. All hardware in the pic came with it. (PS if it looks small it's because that's a big boat behind it. :-) ) PPS don't set this upright in dirt or you'll get dirt in the bearing race on the bottom inside through a 3/4" opening.. yes, this is from first hand experience.)

Hydraulic Lift Works Great
The hydraulic lift assembly works great. The winch has a "clutch" assembly that is supposed to slip to let cable out & grab to pull it back which required adjustment to work at all; not the best design (would prefer the old manual style). Otherwise, the crane worked very well lifting my 12' Jon Boat, 6 HP motor, decoys, paddles, life jackets, etc., from the water to the dock.

Crane works great
After I installed this crane on my trailer I couldn’t wait to use it. I do a lot of different projects and how that my sons are all grown an out of the house I had to figure out how to do some of the heavy lifting for me. I put some straps on this and hooked it up to the crane. Then I jacked up this 700 pound break and spun it onto my trailer. I was able too pull up next to this sheet metal box and pan break and put it on the trailer all by myself! All within 45 minutes and drive away. Since then I’ve used this for other objects that I always had to get a couple of my boys to help me with and now I can do it without asking or waiting for help. This make projects so much easier to handle and not asking for help from anyone. Yes I would and have recommended this to others.

Great crane for the money
Great crane for the money. I installed an electric winch from Harbor Freight on the boom to make lifting my jet skis out of the water (for general maintenance) much easier!

Poor workmanship
Bad welds, unrated, and small dia cable/winch. Tracking was off by 7 days (7 days early).
