Comfy Bedding 3-Piece Bedspread Coverlet Set Oversized and Prewashed Lantern Ogee Quilted, King/California King, Gray

I’ve purchased 6 coverlets/bedspreads in search of the perfect one for my room. This blanket is the winner. I needed a true deep navy that would match my decor and this blanket achieved the color match. It’s not faded looking or just a dark blue. It’s 100% navy for sure.The quality was well above all the others I had purchased.No loose threads, nice thickness to the fabric, stitching tight. It’s very dark when hiding underneath it; perfects for covering your head when someone turns on a light. The fabric was soft right out of the bag.You pay for what you get..👍

I bought this back in 2019 when my husband and I upgraded our bed to a king. I was super pleased with its moderate weight, all-season friendly coverlet--the overall size was perfect for our taller bed/box spring combo and I was so pleased because I'd been through bedding in the past that doesn't properly cover the sides/length of the bed.The stitching and pattern are beautiful and neutral and this coverlet has served us well for 3 years. Funny enough, I'm actually writing this review after having had it this long because I'm looking to replace it. I keep searching the internet for alternatives, but have yet to find anything similar to it in quality and price point. I'm now contemplating just buying the same set because I was that happy with it the first time around.I currently have the light grey. I'm ultra picky about color seeing as I tend to stick to one coverlet/bedspread for years before ever going to change it out. The light grey, to me, has a slight almost lavender hue to it, very hard to detect in certain lightings. I had this set in our last home, one which didn't get much sunlight and the lighting was on the cooler side that at points it let off that lavender hue. Having moved into a new home and having more morning light come into the room the color shows as a light grey for sure. Very beautiful color and I'm truly not trying to talk it up for no reason other than I'm a very content with this purchase and looking to be a repeat customer.

OK, this isn't exactly a "lightweight" blanket but I don't mind that. It does have weight to it. But I like the feel of a slightly heavier blanket. It feels kind of secure and interesting but not super heavy. There's nothing wrong with the softness, it's quilted and it's polyester so don't expect it to feel like flannel. It feels smooth and nice. It's what I wanted. I understood the description so it turned out well. Some reviews have said it's "hot". But I don't agree. I sleep with the AC set fairly low, the way I like it. So it's no warmer than any other blanket I've had. If you're sleeping in a warm room, yeah, maybe this bedspread would seem pretty warm, ? So use your AC. The only problem I had with it is I think it's a bit overpriced. But it's not got some ugly design on it and the quilted stitching will keep the whole bedspread nicely together through washings, unlike bedspreads whose top, padding and backing are sparsely stitched or not even stitched at all. A quilted blanket like this should hold up through washings pretty well. I'd recommend it.

Very happy with the king size light grey quilt. It’s a light, soft grey, a nice neutral to layer with. The lantern pattern is nicely stitched, a nice simple, elegant look. It’s the same on both sides, so it’s reversible. Though it’s polyester, it does look like cotton. The pets have already been on it, and so far so good. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to that. It’s very thin which was exactly what I was looking for, definitely a summer-weight quilt. And the big hard to find feature-it’s oversized and hangs below my very tall mattress, hitting at just the right spot on the bed skirt. Very hard to find quilts big enough, even in some expensive lines. These tall mattress are pretty common now, but bedding manufacturers aren’t there yet. My winter quilt is a beautiful Pine Cone Hill oversized cotton reversible one. The average price for similar ones from that brand are $400 but I found mine at Home Goods for $50, one of my best purchases ever. I’ve been searching for something for the summer I’d like as much and this one meets my needs.Update 8/31/2019.This has been washed numerous times and still looks great. Stains come out very easily. A very tiny bit of pilling but you can barely see it. A lit bit of stitching pulled away on the hem, but all the lantern pattern stitching is intact despite kitties and Chihuahua. Ended up leaving it on for the winter and we were comfortable. It’s thin so that was a surprise, as it’s been comfortable in warmer weather too. I went back and got a white one thinking at this price and durability level I could finally enjoy white bedding with animals. That’s for next summer.

Surprised by how well this quilt is made considering the price point. I can tell you it has been through 3 wash cycles and because it isn't cotton there is no shrinking. The loft in the little design are lofty and it is really nice layered. I use this one to sleep with and it is extremely comfortable, light and breathable. I trade between a few brands weekly and this little gem is holding up well. I am getting this in a darker color for my son to layer his bed but also as the light weight quilt for him during spring, summer and fall. Ok one tiny complaint which really isn't a deal breaker.. it is microfiber so it has a touch of sheen whereas linen or cotton would be muted. BUT please note it is only a touch shiner than my cotton white quilt but truly the advantages of no shrinkage and the super soft, lofty material, out weights the sheen by far. This is a good layer quilt. Don't hesitate....BUY IT!

THIS SPREAD COVERS THE ENTIRE BEDDING. I WANTED A COMFY SPREAD BECAUSE A COMFORTER WAS TOO HOT IN SUMMER MY SPREAD DID NOT COVER THE ENTIRE BED DURING THE WINTER. I FOUND THIS SPREAD TO DO BOTH. AND IT ALSO ADS A GLAMORIZED APPEARANCE TO THE BED

I would normally never buy a bedspread without seeing it in person, but the pandemic forced me to buy online. My delivery came in good time and the bedspread is perfect. I ordered the beige colour but I would say it's more of an ivory, which is what I wanted. The colour is exactly as the picture on the website. The size is great and it feels nice and soft. There has been no problem of the bedspread sliding around during the night. I haven't had to wash it yet so hopefully that goes well when the time comes.
