Great to preserve the freshness of the produce.

They work! I kept strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe and salad mix fresh for two weeks! If your goal is to make your produce last longer, buy it. I know they are not dishwasher safe, but they are worth cleaning by hand. These do not seal, but I believe that is part of the design to keep items fresh. I will buy again, so I can have a few more to use.

I love these containers. The large container is great for making salads. I wash and prep all my lettuce on Sunday and place it in this container for use all week. The smaller containers are perfect for my son's fruit bowls I make every where. I was placing it in a very large sealed cookie jar. But it was cumbersome for him to take out and get fruit from. If I fill the two small containers he can take one right out and start eating. Fruit stays longer without mold in these rather than the jar as well. BUT DO NOT put these in the dishwasher. If you are unwilling to hand wash, do not order. They warp in the dishwasher and the lids will never go on the same again. Learned that the hard way. Great hand washing containers. I do wish they had some just a bit smaller for my other items. Please get more sizes.

I got the larger one for strawberries and 2 smaller ones for blue, black, raspberries. If i wash my berries and put a paper towel in with them in these containers, the berries last at least a week or longer. I used to never buy raspberries bc they don't last a day - these storage bins really help extend their life and they fit perfectly in my fridge.

I have been using the Rubbermaid vegetable keepers for a while now. They work great, but I have always hated how they look. Their design doesn't go with my aesthetic. I was however, also afraid to purchase this product because they are so much cheaper than Rubbermaid so I didn't have high expectations. I finally bought them to give them a test and I have just placed a second order because they work amazingly. I have washed and cut cabbage, broccoli, carrots, lettuce, radish, and green onion in these since the 17th (5 days now) and they are just as crisp as the day I purchased. An entire work week of grab and go vegetables and they still have life in them!Cleaning: I love that the slider for the vent can be completely removed for easy cleaning. Don't throw them in the dishwasher as many other reviewers have posted, but the product description even says they are not dishwasher safe. They really are not a pain to hand wash.Con: The only downside to this product is the lids have no seal or latch at all. They loosely sit on top.

I'd share a photo but the containers became completely misshaped and therefor unusable when put in the dishwasher on the top rack. Not sure if the instructions said hand wash only, but they definitely should. If I'd been able to use the the containers, I'm sure I would have appreciated being able to wash my fruit and then store it for a longer life span.

I feel all grown up now with my organized fridge. All that fresh vegee action is so neat and tidy looking and more importantly fresh! I should do one of those weird YouTube videos where you're oddly enjoying someone reorganize their fridge 🙃...of course I'll click 'like'. Now I can 'like' my own fridge. And it's so easy! My Dino kale and Swiss chard last so much longer. If you have half of an avocado left over, no prob you can just tuck it in one of these bins with the other cut vegees that you can now see so you won't forget.You can also prep your produce and have easy access. Cooking is so much easier!I actually got concerned some red lettuce had been in there too long and to my shock, it was still fresh and perky. It's so gross when there is a slimey lettuce leaf in those god awful plastic bags you get at the store. Plus you can't see what's inside anyways, you're opening random bags before you find the one you need...ughs, and they get all watery with condensation...one bad leaf can ruin the whole thing.Now I want everything in these bins.

So much nicer looking in the fridge than plastic bags and keeps produce fresh longer. Note that they mean it when they say hand wash only! I put them in the dishwasher on the top rack and ended up having to purchase more to replace the ones I ruined! But, that's how much I like them that I ended up buying them again!
