I could not tell from ordering information whether this basin would be deep enough for the heater I was ordering. It was plenty deep and holds quite a bit of water. When my heater isn't in it I keep a big geode in the middle as landing for birds if needed. It was very easy to assemble, appears very durable, as mentioned, a fairly large size, but also sets above my railing just great. Very firm attachment. Looking forward to this winter and watching birds eat as well as drink. This is about 30 inches from my front door so it can be cleaned or filled very easy. I may not set up my yard water pedestal next summer and have to carry water to it, as this is so convenient and I have a problem with balance and walking. I will replace it with a duplicate whenever needed.

Pretty nicely made for the price. It's doing the job and the birds are getting used to it.

Great Product, very easy to put together.

This birdbath attaches to my deck railing well, but the stand is somewhat wobbly. It's also a little too deep for smaller birds, who need a more gentle slope to the water. The bluejays enjoy it.

This was easy to assemble and made a nice bird bath. I left it out during snow and ice and the basin now has a Crack. I'll repurpose is as a bird feeder now instead of using it like a bird bath.

At first I thought the plastic bowl was going to crack in winter. So now 6 months later, Spring has arrived. This is my 8th style of birdbath purchased. Love the thick sturdy center pole, keeps birdbath upright and never sways or bends. As for cleaning issues mentioned in so many other reviews, yes it's not easy emptying the bowl without unscrewing or lifting out of ground. However I have found that using the hose on full blast most of the old water can be flushed out (to grass or surrounding flowers no water waste here lol) and then refilled. 4 stars because it could be a bit taller and less deep. Even still, my yearly bird visitors love it. Bathing and drinking... the smaller songbirds don't bathe as much and I don't usually fill to top. But the American Goldfinches love drinking from the edge. Larger birds like Robin's, Northern Flickers, Starlings often bathe. Even a few house finches and Sparrows. Even those rodent squirrels are enjoying drinking at this 'pond'. Even in winter, when snow or frozen water is present, just add a bucket of hot water! Keeps the backyard water source available year round (did not crack). Definitely has outlasted all the other birdbaths I've purchased! No rust, easy to clean and move if needed. Time to add another to the backyard!

This is wonderful. I bought one just a couple of weeks ago to prevent the bunnies from getting to the bird seed (and bread crumbs) - the birds love it. Then, I decided to get another as a bird bath and now they are really happy in the yard. The company has added the addition of a little wing bolt so that you can remove the tray for cleaning - wish both of my dishes had that insightful upgrade but it's more important for the one with water. Great product, well made, and reasonably priced. A terrific addition for our entertainment while dining outside.

Should have, could have, would have. That is my actual title for this birdbath. I looked forward to receiving the item since I wanted it for my fountain. The bottom line is that I wish I had read the views. Also, I wish I had returned the bath after I struggled with the screws that put the pole together. I could not get the screws to fit correctly; therefore, the product is standing crooked. And, as other reviewers mentioned, one has to unscrew the pole to clean the b bath and it is short. One more annoying thing, my fault for not reading the description heading, is that the bath is oval, not round. The picture makes the bowl look round. If you purchase one of the floating solar fountains, the fountain will only stay centered in the bowl if one cuts the straws with the fountain. And, as others mentioned, one has to once be in the market for a new birdbath that does not fall short of my basic expectations. Too expensive for what one gets!
