It works with shoes that have velcro straps
I'm so pleased with my new brace. I reviewed several but they all say works for laced shoes. Because of my special needs I wear shoes with velcro straps and this works great! It keeps my foot at a 90 degree angle and for the first time I have a "normal" gait when I walk. I can't wait to walk into my doctors office after 2 surgeries and years of treatment to show her what worked for me. I wish I knew about this years ago. I plan on ordering another so I don't have to worry about going without. I also have thick ankles but it fits like a dream. The design supports my ankle and I feel sure footed when I walk. Thank you.

Awesome!!!!
This brace is amazing. It works to well. I am buying one more for my other foot. It even has helped my foot straiten out while i am walking. It is very comfortable and sturdy ankle support. Highly recommend this brace.😄

Very comfortbaleThe
The device was comfortable and relaitively easy to use. The strap is a little twisted and difficult to tighten when the device was laced close to the ankle.

Does what it is supposed to do, but very difficult to use.
An AFO that works, but difficult to use, and not as effective as other options, such as Swedish-designed AFO's.

Works great for me! Cane free and loving it!
My neurologist suggested this for my foot drop. I have tried a carbon fiber full length brace ($800 Medicare) but I couldn't wear it while driving and it was uncomfortable while sitting. My therapists were suggesting different canes but I finally was able to get an neurologist appointment after a year of waiting. She informed me that by using the cane I was letting the muscle in my calf, and knee, degrade faster and I was going to have hip problems because of the way I was throwing my foot out to the side. She was right.Everyone is different and it won't work for every condition but for me it did. I'm cane free for almost a month and my calf muscle is starting to improve. All I needed was a little lift and my gait is much improved. When I drive I simply release the Velcro strap from the shoe so I can press the pedals as needed. I read reviews who said theirs broke, so I bought two. So far I have not needed the backup.

Ankle foot drop brace
Works great once you get it in place but getting the brace on exhaust me. Also this has shredded my shoelaces. I won’t purchase this kind again.

Great support and ease of use.
I woke up after 10 weeks on a ventilator last year. Now have drop-foot. These are the best I've used! They provide the best supporrt if worn with straps across the front rather than across the back as instructions state. The brace supports best this way as the brace material is supporting againt the ankle rather than the straps. Much more comfortable and greater support. I use a small carabiner hooked through both front two laces with the hook facing up. (Instead of the straps fed through the laces) Changing to different shoes is much quicker.
