Fits like a glove
10/10. Fits and snaps on perfectly even with a ZoomHitSkin 3M vinyl skin.Important thing to note on the holes for the X Y A B button: make sure you file the lower section of the holes so the buttons don't grind against the case. I used a cheap <$10 dremel from Harbor Freight to file those parts down. It was super easy and now there's good space in between the physical buttons and the case. Same thing goes for the + and -I had to file the lower part of the hole where it was touching the (-) button. Works perfect.

Perfect, and better if you have a Dremel!
I bought this case because it was cheap and wanted it to protect my Zelda controller (like pretty much everyone else). I also tend to have some lengthy gaming sessions, and so I also bought a Nyko Uboost (which is fantastic, btw). Unfortunately the two of these do not fit together as they come....But fear not! If you have a Dremel, about 15 minutes of work will not only make this case work with the Uboost, but ALSO make it fit in the cradle! Since the Uboost sticks out from the bottom of the controller, the plastic case wont interfere with the cradle positioning.I am by no means an expert with a Dremel, and I did a pretty decent job cutting and sanding with it to make the Uboost fit. The only place you really need to be careful is at the bottom where the two pieces of the case latch together. No modifications need to be made to the front half of the clamshell, so just separate the two halves carefully before starting work on the back piece.I posted some pictures as well. You can see that it fits in the cradle with the Uboost and the case on as well.

Junk.
I hate to say this because I wanted this thing to work. Been looking for a good protector for my wii u zelda pad for a while now. I had the OG silicon one from Nintendo but it ended up snapping a while back. I ordered this in hopes it'd be a good protector. It was packaged great and fast shipping. However, the product is trash. It doesn't connect, parts of it was already scuffed so it makes me think it was used and sent back to begin with, and it's warped/uneven/uncut. It doesn't snap together/hold together. And there's plastic pieces sticking out in one side (probably why it doesn't fasten together right) Either take a chance and hope you get a good one or save your money on something else.

Does exactly as I had expected.
Purchased for my Legend of Zelda Wii U gamepad, and it is amazing. It keeps the pretty design from getting rubbed off over time, as I have experienced with past special edition Nintendo items. Occasionally, I have to open it up and wipe it down with a clean cloth since my dead skin and my sister's dead skin pile up around the button openings, but the cases does not resit being opened too much, about like an iphone 4 otter box hinders opening (less clips that the i6 cases). We have long lost our charging cradle, since it was pointless to stand it up and try to play games on it. We have only ever used the charging cable with the case in other words.Potential cons:The gap between the two sides of the plastic case are a bit large, but it has never bothered me since I have a loose grip on the gamepad anyway. Maybe a centimeter or two.Continued loss of the stylus, the case has no way of keeping the stylus in the gamepad, but it is made in such a way as to not obscure the stylus in any way.

Good price for what you get
I wanted a good, lightweight, clear case for my Wind Waker HD special edition GamePad, and that is exactly what I have received. This case is too thick to allow for use of the charging station, but this wasn't too much of a big deal to me; there are openings at the bottom that seem to have been intended to make it so that you could use the charging station, but the case itself obstructs the GamePad from getting far enough down in the groove for the contacts to meet. Overall it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the controller as to impede play in any way (and I have very tiny hands!), and feels sturdy enough to protect the controller should you drop or strike it. I did notice some hairline imperfections near some of the holes for the buttons, but you have to look at it up close to see them and they don't really bother me too much.Considering that many of these cases can run as much as $20, or can be flimsy and poorly constructed, this is a good bet if you want an inexpensive way to protect your Wii U GamePad from scratches, dirt, and falls. It also doesn't impede the use of a screen protector, so add one of those on and you're good to go. Just don't expect to be able to use the standard charging station with it; I don't know if there are different charging stations you can get to accommodate hard cases.

I love it and hate it.
This picture from their page is the exact model they shipped to me. Since this one does not match what is in their main photographs, i was unlucky i guess.I do somewhat like this design illustrated in this image, but it's majorly flawed: If i am playing a fighting game, such as Tekken, or any game that requires button-combinations.. of pressing 2 or more buttons at the same time in the area i circled in red... those ABXY buttons have plastic between them from the case, making it hard to press multiple keys down at the same time.So if i have to do a move in Tekken that requires me to push A and B at the exact same time, that plastic between the buttons prevents me.I wish they shipped to me the one that is in the photographs at the top of their page, because those images show full circular cut-outs around the Dpad and the ABXY so that none of the plastic is blocking pushing the keys. Why did they not send me this one?

Sleek and protective
This is great! It actually is much more discreet than the photos here make it seem. You can barely tell its there. I do however look at it from the perspective of a mom with young kids (5&7) so when I say "you can barely tell it's there" I'm referring to the idea that for something that protects the game pad from my kids as much as it does, it is quite sleek. I would normally expect something with such good protection to be more bulky. The only thing I don't like is that you can't dock it with the case on. You have to unplug the dock and plug straight into the pad. However it is very light and very clear and gives the overall appearance that the wii u pad was manufactured with the case on it.

Not as advertised!
I did not receive the product as advertised in the pictures. The item I received did not have large circular cutouts where the buttons and D-pad are. Also the back is all one piece and does not fold out in the middle as shown in the picture. I would recommend against buying this.
