You will want to epoxy the magnet in place.
Magnet needs to be glued in place.. it’s new and you need to fix it before you use it.

Le manuel d'installation est extrement rudimentaire (plus de détails aurait été apprécié). SI vous etes debrouillard on s'en sort bien, si on essye de décrypter 8 étape en 1 seule image bon courage.

Easy to install, broke in the cold
Installed this summer on our pool deck.Likes: worked well all summer. Comes with a key so you can lock it. Mechanism is fairly strong. This model mounted fairly easily on a corner - but won’t mount without a corner. Adjustments are really easy. Instructions are clear and easy to read.Dislikes: you need quite a bit of clearance between the gate and post for the mounting corner bracket. My gate didn’t have enough clearance so I had to mount it on the other side of the 4x4 which was at its limit. Also it doesn’t hold up on the cold, I went on the pool deck when it was about -5 out and upon closing, the latch broke.

Cheap and broke within 1 week
Bought 2 of these latches. The first one broke within 2 days. The 2nd one broke 1 week. We didn't get it installed until a month after receiving so we missed the refund date. Would NOT recommend. Complete junk.
