I love the full bodied flavor of this salt. I like it a little more finely ground, but that is not an issue here. I own and use five flavors of this type of salt and love all of them, but some more than others. I put this one in my handmade butternut squash soup, along with a little maple syrup. I highly recommend it for its purity and authentic smoky taste.

The price is a little high, but the flavour is worth it.

I've purchased this before and loved it, it seems a bit biiter/astringent this time. I'm not sure if it was maple smoke I used last time though. It was a bit clumped as well.Definitely a nice way to add subtle smokiness to foods. Due to the slight bitterness I wouldn't use it as a finishing salt. When used earlier it's fine.

Love the hint of maple in this salt! It Is so good on my morning eggs. Highly recommend!!

An excellent fasting aid. It's delicious to salt your food, but as my fasting coach taught me, it's also delicious just as a sort of tea or "soup" -- a teaspoon in a cup of water is excellent to help you go to sleep when your body has that extra energy when you're fasting. You can use regular salt too of course, but Maldon salt is extra delicious! I think I'll have a cup of hot salty water (fasting soup) right now!
